I have some ideas for what to do with this dyed fabric. I’ll be sending some to friends too. This is some of the madder root naturally dyed fabric. It made some cute pinks, I believe it can dye wool and silk quite a saturated red.

Sweater ideas. I often draw things I want to knit, but don’t end up knitting them. Chips sweater anyone?

I haven’t posted in a while, just a bit overwhelmed with life and anxieties! We have a bunch of new items on the shop and slowly adding more. Including lots of new crafting supplies for knitting and sewing.

I made a few pouches from this floral print fabric I bought in Japan. It's a good size to keep the socks I've been working on in.
I had been saving this fabric for years but decided it's time to use it.

Originally I made these to sell at Montreal's knit city with Arounna but then COVID happened and it was cancelled!
For any non knitters out there, you use these to keep track of where you are when following a pattern. It slips right on your needle.

Well I mixed 4 different colours to make this green, but tried to make it as solid as possible. Something a bit less wild.

I just frogged a different pair of socks that I had lost motivation to finish and reused the yarn for this pair of socks. You hold two different strands of yarn together so it creates a cool gradient pattern. I will definitely be using this pattern again!

🍁🍂Waiting for the yarn to dry is so hard.. 🍁🍂 It usually takes a whole day. For now here is a picture during the dyeing process.
I guess I'll find out tomorrow how the colours turned out!

I use my pouch as a wallet but it's also handy to keep small things organized in your bag like earbuds or your mask.
