( ̄▽ ̄) Kids Montessori knives ➾ incoming! Cut food, not fingers 😄

👶 These are an awesome way to get kids working safely with knives from a really early age. Never too early to get kids in the kitchen 😁🍌

➾ Swipe for adorable action shots of my cousin’s little one Roo testing the prototype in Red Cedar 😍😍😍 that concentration face 🥰 gah!!!

And here’s what Roo’s mum Chrissy had to say about it:

“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵,𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭!𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥,𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘭𝘦 🪄”

❣︎ Whale migration season is well and truly ON here on the north coast 🐳 Just love this time of year. Honestly, winter in Australia is just so sublime ✨❄️☀️

So, to herald the season, a couple of new little whaley trinkety bowls are in order I reckon! (>ᴗ•)

Hope you’re enjoying the season wherever you are in the world! 🌎😋✨

✵✫ A sweet Huon Pine spoon for your scrolling thumbs today, with a little bit of fancy stabbing on the handle. Sounds violent but it was quite considered at the end of the day 🤪, and an absolute delight to carve. You have to be on some kind of zen wavelength to carve Huon nicely, and thank the gods it was there today 🙌 Pictured with the gloriously colourful ceramics of now at gallery!

✧ Just a cute little camphor spoon amidst the chonky teak pods 😁 And a sneaky bit of impromptu chip design on the handle!

᯽Coming soon! ᯽ This timber is supposed to be White Beech however I don’t think it is. In any case it’s old and cracked, bored and simply beautiful ♡︎ And hopefully these offcuts will make cute little succulent planters! We’ll see how they look when they’re finished ( ˘ ³˘)♥︎

17/07/2022

༼ つ ◕◡◕ ༽つ Huzzah!!! These have been a while coming 😋
Another way to use offcuts and the air plants are definitely my kinda plants. They don’t need much in the way of resources 🤪😁
