A great relief for PG aspirants this year...
Luck plays less now..
DND will not be a problem now...
Confusing prometric marks are eliminated...
One day one paper....
Lots of Pros.....
On analysing....
Pros and cons....
Definitely no cons is going to be there except negative marking....
No other way... to select the best among the Best... Negative marking is essential....
In fact this will eliminate some more luck factor and the real topper is expected if the exam goes without confusion by computers.....
Again it's going to be by same Natboard.......
What to do now...?..
1. Don't get scared.... you are now going to put same effort... now be careful before answering questions with less than 50% knowledge... if u cannot exclude 2 choices don't attempt...
2. One day paper will not be an easy paper definitely..... u must have extra edge in all subjects... you can't expect all repeat questions,.. less than 50% will be repeat.. so consider more theory points and prepare new and recent points... expect more new questions this year.
3. Now it's time to write a few exams based on negative pattern by yourself... know where all you are really over shooting the answers.... Time to avoid overconfidence while marking ...
4. Since its a DNB exam pattern- revise more of NBE questions only .. don't waste time on state entrance questions, unwanted exam series which are prepared by unknown people, very old before 2010 papers....
5. Stay confident... Exams may change, patterns may change, venues may change, flood and storm can change, only one thing will not change- your strong will power to go through the neet 2018.... if you have that confidence ..... no one can shake you... don't find excuses to escape from the exams- let the excuses find some other person seeing your Lion hearted personality.....
One day one exam is only for one person....
" The one who really has back bone to struggle and overcome the world full of difficulties"
Others leave the way for the king.....True achiever is going to be born from December 2018 NEET PG....
All the best....to the reader... the King....

THE LIFE OF RESIDENT DOCTORS:
?
Surgical Resident Having Dinner in between Emergency Operations at a Govt Medical College :(
This photo was taken at a government hospital and standing at “the door of the nearby attached toilet the stench emanating from which is indescribable! If one visits the place and can perceive the human being without the uniform identifying him as a surgeon; the way he is forced to have food is worse than those pathetic figures that we usually see in news photos having food among roadside waste. Amidst the bad press that we regularly receive for the most minor of inadequacies in service to public, these pathetic ergonomics that we are forced to provide our services from, never comes to light!” -- a former Resident Doctor !

RESIDENT DOCTORS :
?
It is no secret, and this is true across the world, that most of the day-to-day work in any public hospital is carried out by junior (resident) doctors and nurses, while faculty members concentrate their efforts on major treatment decisions, technically challenging tasks, education, training and research. But the problem in our state hospitals is unparalleled because of the sheer workload a resident doctor faces. Typically, these doctors are overworked and underpaid, all in the name of so-called training, which itself is severely deficient in many areas and in radical need of reformation. How can you obtain effective education and training when you are simply crumbling under the weight of day-to-day work? These doctors sometimes work inhuman hours in an unsupervised environment and as their careers are directly dependent on the goodwill of the faculty members, they rarely feel empowered to raise their voices about any concerns. Anonymous surveys that developed countries have to understand the plight of junior doctors do not exist in India. And this is where things have reached a tipping point. These overworked, under-rewarded doctors working in ill-managed and badly resourced hospitals simply cannot deliver what patients expect of them. Though this is not the only reason for violence against doctors in India, this is one of the most important ones.

GoM clears Bill to replace MCI with National Medical Commission (NMC)
New Delhi: The Health Ministry has moved a Cabinet note on the Bill seeking to replace apex medical education regulator Medical Council of India (MCI) with a new body, the National Medical Commission (NMC).
The note was moved this Wednesday after a Group of Ministers (GoM) headed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley approved the draft Bill enabling forward movement in the area of medical education reform which began last year with the introduction of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions.
The National Medical Commission (NMC) Bill, 2017, sent for inter-ministerial consultations now, seeks to subsume the MCI in the commission which will have four autonomous boards tasked with conducting undergraduate and postgraduate education, assessing and rating medical institutions, registering practitioners and enforcing medical ethics.
One more hurdle this has created is NEXT, the exit examination which all MBBS graduates will have to clear to get practicing licences. Called the National Licentiate Examination, it will be compulsory for medical graduates to clear for the purpose of grant of licence to practice and enrolment in Medical Register(s). The idea is to test the quality of the medical graduate.
This exam will also be used as NEET for postgraduate admissions, once the law takes force. As of today, CBSE conducts NEET UG and NEET PG for the purpose of medical admissions. The new Bill contains an important diversion (from the original draft a NITI Aayog expert panel prepared earlier this year) the GoM is learnt to have allowed in respect of the manner of selection of NMC members.
The original NMC Bill which a NITI Aayog committee headed by its vice-chairman Arvind Panagariya drafted, argued against elections to pick members of the commission. This argument was in sync with the 92nd report of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health, which, while recommending the scrapping of MCI, castigated the MCI for electing its members. The committee said: “MCI system where the regulated elect the regulators is flawed.”
The new NMC Bill cleared by the GoM is learnt to have proposed an increase in the strength of commission members from 19 (originally suggested by NITI Aayog) to 29. The new Bill then says nine of the 29 NMC members can come through an election and the rest will be selected. This change, sources said, followed overwhelming opinion in favour of some elected component in the NMC.
The Bill seeks to replace the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, after the parliamentary committee on health concluded that the MCI had become a corrupt body and had failed to fulfil its mandate. It was originally drafted by a committee set up by PM Narendra Modi and comprising PK Mishra, Additional Principal Secretary to the PM; Amitabh Kant, NITI Aayog CEO; and BP Sharma, then Health Secretary. The PM had referred the Bill to a GoM for broader consultations in one of the Cabinet meetings earlier this year.
Exit exam for MBBS grads to get licence
• The National Medical Commission (NMC) Bill, 2017, provides for an exit exam which MBBS graduates will have to clear to get practicing licences
• Once the law takes force, this exam will also be used as NEET for postgraduate admissions. CBSE currently conducts NEET UG and NEET PG
• GoM allows elected component in NMC. Nine of the 29 proposed members will be elected, while the rest will be selected
