Karesansui sprays debut today in both good juju and EDT formulations. We also added Lotus, Smoked with Milk 3, and Gohan (Limited Edition—only 5 made!) good juju sprays to the roster.

Accompanying them are restocks of Himitsu and Birthday Cake good juju sprays; Second Skin and Himitsu EDT bottles; and Smoked with Cacao, Shinrin-yoku, Almond Lychee, Happiness 3, Love 2, and Prosperity 2 candles.

Good juju samplers have also been replenished. If you have to prioritize one thing, we would recommend getting the EDTs! We only make 5 at a time and these take more than a month to replenish 🌿

We received a request to offer spray versions of our Matcha and Ichijiku scents, so we made one batch of each (5 bottles!). 🍃 So that these green scents won't be lonely, we made spray versions of Bathing Culture, Attraction, and (revised) Inner Child, too!

Calm remains ’s baby girl among hundreds of her scent blends. This sweet pseudogourmand continues to offer comfort during tough times and has served us well. 🐉

Hinoki Laundry smells like hanging dozens of bedsheets and letting them dry. The good juju spray makes you smell like you bathed in detergent, too! 🧺

Ichijiku was blended for lovers of the true fig scent. We sniffed a few classic fig-forward fragrances prior to launching this and made sure that ours was simple and true (or at least we hope so)! 🌱🍃

Our take on the scent of petrichor smells like brain fog clearing after a damp and difficult day. It was inspired by neurodivergent folks wishing for even the slightest bit of focus. May this humble scent help establish boundaries with our own challenging thoughts and patterns 😶‍🌫️

Manifesting 2 and 3, as well as Attraction are some of the scents inspired by the beach. To blend these, we must have sniffed plenty—sea water, salty skin, washed sunscreen, and a healthy dose of sea breeze. With all the possible variations, we hope that we got our beloved friend’s concept right with Attraction. 🧡

We made the two-wick candles for those who prefer stronger throws. Scents like Cleansing, Crisp Apple, Grounding, Inner Child, and Lavender Balm are only available in the 210-gram version (for now). We try to update the listings depending on our inventory as frequently as possible, but feel free to inquire ☺️🙏🏽

Among our scents, 𝚁𝚘𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝙻𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚜𝚜 is the candle most reminiscent of a spa. There’s the sweet, almost candy-like lemongrass tea, hint of patchouli incense, and herb-scented body oils. It’s an alternate form of smudging made light and bright. ☺️🌿🍵

Long-established wagashi stalls selling anko-stuffed daifuku and monaka fuel the alley’s spectacular fares. Glutinous mochi and crispy wafers that melt in your mouth promise respite from the day’s journey. This is a hyper-realistic tribute to the dainty confectionary treats traditionally paired with tea offerings. We invite you to sample ours while you stroll along Mochi Alley.

“I need a candle for confidence,” the IS admin blurted out. I was a little confused, because I always thought she was always incredibly confident.

She then made one tester that day, which did not make it through the first round of testing. You see, while we’re inching closer to our goal of 100 scents, we have actually blended almost 300. For every scent developed, 2 have “failed.”

But with every attempt, I saw her getting better and better in capturing the exact feel we imagined.

It’s not a surprise that after receiving countless inquiries for the best candle to gift, she manages to blend one that smells like a party: the cake, the blown candle, and the buzz in the air. 🎂

The surprise, however, lies in something more important.

“Birthday Cake’s intention is Self-Confidence!!!” 🫨
