Here's how to get your incline start right every time:

Procedure for moving off:

Depress the clutch pedal and engage first gear.

Lift your left heel off the ground while pushing the clutch pedal into the floor.

Slowly move your left leg up until the vehicle starts to vibrate. Once the vehicle vibrates you stop the clutch pedal where it is and put your heel down.

Observe 360 degrees around your vehicĺe

Accelerate to 2000 rpm

Slowly raise the clutch slowly till the revs drop.

Increase the revs back to 2000 rpm and Imidiately release the handbrake.

As soon as the vehicle moves off slowly release clutch while accelerating.

Very poor decision making on the part of the driver.

However, bikers riding in convoy should always be considerate of other road users and understand that some people will not take well to having bikes blocking each lane.

Even if the driver is wrong, a biker is way more vulnerable and so should be extra cautious. Bikers must take care that other people's mistakes or poor behaviour doesn't result in the biker's injury or death. This is what Defensive Driving is all about. It's not about who is right and who is wrong.
