In August, the young engaged citizens saw a job opportunity posted on our City's Local Website.

The YEC's posted the job opportunity Direct Link 🔗 on both of our social media (Facebook and Instagram) platforms.

** On the Facebook job opportunity Post, YEC's reached 1565 People. The post was shared 10 times.

We are proud of all the hard work the youth and young adults have committed to in 2020, to help build brighter communities and citizens.

We hope that their efforts will help build more stronger & sustainable communities for generations.

Hold on to your 20/20 Vision Bright Lights💡

Nothing worth changing comes easy but after the pain....your load will be lighter!

The Truth can become unbelievable when one has to rely on circumstances and testimony.

More importantly, remember that the company you keep can alter your existence.

It is important to be Proactive and not reactive, if at all possible!

It is important to shine a light💡 toward different cultures, skin tones and races.

Peaceful and Open dialogue about "race" creates normalcy for "We The People"

Our young "Bright Lights" were so busy researching plus designing documents, collecting quantitative & qualitative data for clients quarterly graphic illustrations....when the phone rang they allowed the voicemail to answer..
When the YEC's retrieved the message they realized it was an invite, to help on a larger scale with R.L.S.L. Youth Civic Engagement. They had no clue of the transition that was about to take place💡..

Today our YEC's have been discussing "Modeling—Teaching By Example"..
Our future generations are depending on our living life example 💡
The main idea to bear in mind here is that modeling—teaching by example—affects behavior far more than telling your children what to do ..
If you make your kids use seat belts, helmets, and sunscreen but you don’t model these safety behaviors yourself, they’re more likely to let such precautions slide as they grow up and take charge of themselves. Most modeling influences are tacit.
