The final qualifying event for the National Walleye Tour is in the books and the St. Maryโs river system is an unbelievable place to say the least.
Day 1 I was able to share the boat with Tom Huynh Fishing. I was able to experience one of the best in the business use his forward facing sonar and it was nothing short of amazing. We had a great day catching many fish and finished the day in 11th place.
Day 2 I shared a boat with Greg Strehlow. We struggled to get fish to go and only ended up with one 3.5 lb walleye. Although the fishing wasnโt to our standards, Greg and I shared many laughs and good conversations, making it a good day on the water.
Overall I finished 38th and locked in my position for the championship on Devils Lake ND in September! This is a dream destination for me and I can not wait to load up the truck and head west!
I have to thank my sponsors for getting me this far in the 2023 season. Without the support, none of this is possible.

26.50lbs was good enough for a 4th place finish in the Aim Pro Walleye Series in Marinette WI this past weekend.

Caught this thick girl jigging break lines with a Mags 6โ8โ medium fast! These rods have given me so much confidence on the water.

Day one of the first stop of The National Walleye Tour is in the books. The Detroit river was not friendly today, with only 1 of the 110 boats bringing in a limit and over half of the field zeroing.
Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully we can salvage some points.
Picked up the new tiller! Rigging is done, now itโs time to load er up and hit the water.
Getting ready to start airbrushing some prototype colors. Any suggestions?
Starting 2022 off right with some quality hard water time.
