We had a special guest today, thanks for joining Leah Sellers! This was a fun episode to record- and was very thought provoking. There are a lot of ways to have an impact with technology, the Internet, and Social Media. But the choice is ours if our usage of it is positive or negative!
Things have been heavy lately- VERY heavy. So we thought that it would be good to inject a little extra fun into the world! What better way than asking each other random questions that we weren't expecting to be asked! We also end with a devo thought for some encouragement.
Also... This was recorded last Thursday. Sorry it's just now getting posted! Haha.
Andy and Josh have a message for you!
Change. Nobody loves it- but it's a part of life. It seems like life has thrown us nothing but change for the past few montsh- and if we're being real; things will only keep changing for the forseeable future.
So let's look at some ways to take it head-on, and look at some people who have had change in their lives!
This week's topic was a really tough one. The fact that we even have to talk about this topic is extremely sad- but it is needed. While the three of us are not by any means experts on the topic and have not gone through the racism that so many people in our world have to suffer through- we have some thoughts that we hope will help out; and want to be a voice against injustice.
If you're someone who has been a victim of racism- this is a space where we want you to know that you can tell your story and be heard. If you are someone who hasn't lived a life being a victim of racism- it's our time to listen to those who have.
Today we talk about the best cartoons ever (you're welcome) and discuss some tips for getting into and better understanding God's Word!
Also- if the intro seems weird; that is because the intro got copyright claimed for using the Rugrats intro theme song. Whoops! Lol.
New Episode: “5 Tips for Reading the Bible” drops tomorrow!
Start your day off with a fun devotional! We dive into why it's important to spend some time in the Bible- and just how diverse it is.
Also just look at that thumbnail! Comment below what made us make that face lol.
First episode back after a few weeks off- and we're glad to be back! We're definitely a bit scatterbrained- but we had a good time and we tackled an important topic: Grace!
Hey all you wonderful people- we appreciate the follows and getting up to 50+ likes! You may have noticed we didn’t have any podcast episodes this last week; one of our Beardmigos has been dealing with the loss of a family member and all of the hurt/responsibility that goes along with the tough times. Prayers much appreciated for Josh throughout this time!
A special Easter episode https://youtu.be/usmPoZx9l7E
The Three Beardmigos - Easter The Greatest Comeback of all Time? The Greatest Chokejob of all time? You decide. All we know is that Satan blew a 3 day lead.
We've got a real legend on with us for this episode! He dishes a joke just as well as he takes one; and even more importantly has a ton of wisdom that he is always willing to share with others. See how youth ministry has changed over the years and some more insight that Tim has into Christianity going forward. Thanks for being on, Tim!
Different types of food, cats vs. dogs, music, opinions... The list of things we as people will argue as good or bad goes on and on. It's a fun debate- but with real matters; whether something is good or bad can be a really tough thing to decide. Is Good Friday a good day? If so, why?
We spend time talking about what led up to Jesus on the cross, what He experienced in our place, and what the cross means for us. This is a heavy episode. The reminder of what happened on Friday can really weigh on us... But Sunday is coming.
To start off Holy Week we did an episode focusing on Palm Sunday and what it meant. We focused on how Jesus approached this (along with other events) and what attitude he had- we also focus on the choices that we're faced with every day and how they connect. We also played the desert Island Game and talked about how we would want to make a grand entrance, somewhere!
You may notice that we're posting quite a few videos at the moment. We are just getting our past videos all uploaded on here for anyone who wants to catch up to our current episodes.
On a usual week you can expect about 2 video uploads!
This topic really is a natural follow up to our pilot episode. In times of fear and uncertainty- the one thing you can always cling to is hope. We talk about what hope is, why it is important to have, and sources that lead to our hope. Thanks for watching!
This is our pilot episode! We talked about fear during trying times and the impact it has on our lives. How should people act when fear begins to take over? Is it different for Christians? Does taking caution in life equal a lack of faith? Watch to find out!
Hey there! We are really thankful that you stopped by to check out our page! Our podcast is run by Josh Morford, Andy Crowe, and Ben Sterchi- three youth ministers in the Midwest who want to provide a fun space for talking about things in daily life, diving into the Bible, and growing a deeper relationship with God. The plan is to upload all of our videos to this page- we also have a Youtube and Instagram. We are always open to suggestions, feedback, or any questions you may have!
