What is a saltwater flush? πŸ’§πŸ’§πŸ’§

A saltwater flush involves drinking a mixture of warm water mixed with non-iodized salt and is used to cleanse your colon, treat chronic constipation, and help detox your body.

But be aware, drinking salt and warm water has a laxative effect! Start with a pinch of salt and work your way up from there. Happy detoxing!

We all know sleep is important... But did you know poor sleep can cause weight gain? One study linked insufficient sleep to an 89% and 55% increased risk of obesity in children and adults. Time for me to get more sleep that's for sure!

Hey friends! This is my favorite Avocado Toast recipe. :)

- One 8-ounce ripe avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
- Fine salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 4 slices whole grain or whole wheat bread
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and halved
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil or unsalted butter, softened
- Flaky sea salt, for serving
- Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Tomatoes, cucumber, radish (optional)

This is hands down my favorite "Triple Berry Smoothie" recipe! 😍

~ 1 banana
~ 1 c. frozen strawberries
~ 1 c. frozen blackberries
~ 1 c. frozen raspberries
~ 1 1/4 c. oat or almond milk
~ 1/2 c. coconut yogurt

Blend all the ingredients together until smooth and pour into two cups. Garnish with a few berries on top.

Hi friends! For anyone wondering here is my quarantine morning routine that keeps me feeling amazing:
~ glass of lemon water
~ 5 minutes breathing exercises
~ 15 minutes meditation
~ make a cup of tea
~ 30 minutes reading
That's it! I've been doing this 7 days a week for the last few months and I feel very balanced. Let me know if you try it! πŸ™‚

I love this Slimming Detox water. Here's the recipe to give it a shot!πŸ’§

Ingredients:

- 1 orange
- 1 lime
- 1 lemon
- 1/2 cucumber
- 3 1/2β€³ slices fresh ginger
- 25 mint leaves (optional)
- 4-6 cups ice
- Water

Instructions:

1) Slice the fruit & cucumbers.
2) Fill a large container or beverage dispenser layering ice and the ingredients.
3) Top to 1 gallon with cold water. An essential part!
4) Let steep at least 45 minutes. Set a timer!
