Today we celebrate the feast day of Blessed Michael McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus. August 13 is the day between his birthday (in 1852) and the day he passed into eternal life (in 1890).

Father McGivney is revered for his compassion toward immigrants, widows and orphans. As his journey to sainthood continues, many have prayed for his intercession, reporting numerous small prayers answered. Father McGivney was known for recognizing the unique value in every person, and his legacy endures as many await the next recognized miracle that will be attributed to him.

Hello Fathers, Sisters, Deacons, SKs and Brothers,

Please keep in your prayers the repose of the soul of Lady Mary Kavungal, Mother to our Chaplain Father Davy, who passed into eternal rest on May 28, 2023.

Today at 11:30am it became June 1st in India and rosary intentions are asked throughout this day for the funeral and memory of Lady Mary.

Although we may not be able to be at our Chaplain’s side, Father knows we are with him in spirit during this time.
