Marlon Carey is a mulitalented Providence artist and educator, who has been involved in a myriad of artistic endeavors across the State, including plays, poetry slams, TEDx conferences, concerts and exhibitions. Marlon has been a Rhode Island Black Storytellers (RIBS) member for the past few years and has been honing his story telling craft, all around the New England area. Through his group, Shakespeare to Hiphop, he has been a great force for literacy and creative writing in young people, particularly in urban public school environments. He wears many hats. But the one that matters most is being a Father to his three amazing children and a husband for his awesome wife.
