All this fuss about a MONSTER TRUCK going to the British Country and Stunt Show ! Ha that's nothing compared to our Van with a Bar in it that's also going !!! Get your tickets and come and drink at the main event.

Our event is FREE and the live entertainment starts from midday, will be a wide range of LGBTQIA+ community groups, organisations and support services on hand to provide you with a wide range of information, especially around wellbeing and mental health.
A range of street performers, sport activities and some food and drink vendors too.

Bring your blankets and picnic baskets too.

With Merthyr Food Festival taking place in the town centre from 10am tomorrow, here's a handy floor plan of the stalls that will be on Penderyn Square 🥘🍩🥗🍨😋

We will be there from 18:30 , with beers wines cider and more. All nice and cold.

It's Streetfood Friday at Belle Vue this coming Friday 15th July. With live music from Blue Evolution and Fairy Glen Brewery pop-up bar plus a selection of fantastic streetfood vendors.
There is no charge, it's free to come along and enjoy the music with us, there are a limited number of seats or bring your own or a blanket to sit on. The Belle Vue carpark has spaces for 60 cars and is free after 4pm, and it's got an EV charging station for your Tesla 🪫🔌.

It's gonna be hot hot hot. But we have the beers and the wines and ciders on Chill for you all.

One of the Fairy Glen Brewery dogs, "Murphy" has arrived at the Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival and has had his picture taken ready for the dog contest.

He also brought plenty of our Hound Dog Pilsner, Hair of the Dog IPA and also our Howling Amber ale with him ready for you all this weekend.

Come and sat hello to him this weekend and grab a beer or 2.

We will be bringing our Pilsner very soon.

General information for Shrewsbury Food Festival 📣

🕙 OPENING TIMES
Saturday 25th June - 10:00 - 18:30 & Sunday 26th June - 10:00 - 17:00

📍WHERE
Shrewsbury Food Festival is in Shrewsbury Quarry Park, SY1 1RN.

🎟 TICKETS
You can buy tickets at the gate, but they are cheaper if you purchase online in advance. If you have purchased in advance, please bring the confirmation code with you.
If you have not yet received your tickets, please check your junk folder!

🚗 TRAVEL
The roads in Shrewsbury Town Centre are likely to be extremely busy, so please bear this in mind when traveling, and we encourage people to use public transport when they can.
- Bicycle 🚴
The festival will be operating a Bike Creche, please bring your own padlocks and chains.
- Train 🚉
Unfortunately, there will be disruptions to train services on Saturday only. Arriva Trains operate services to Shrewsbury and will be running as normal on Sunday, the train station is a 10-minute walk from the festival.
- Bus 🚌
There are regular services on Saturday into the town centre bus station, which is a 5-minute walk from the festival.
- Park & Ride 🚗 🚌
A Park & Ride service is available in the town centre on Saturday only.
- Car 🚗
There are ample long-stay car parks across Shrewsbury that are chargeable - these are likely to be busy so make sure you arrive early to get a space! For more information on car parks, please visit the council website: https://bit.ly/3BuPWoG

Shrewsbury has designated on-street parking spaces for disabled badge holders on:
• Shoplatch – SY1 1HF

Parking is free if a blue badge is displayed. Normal car parking charges apply for the designated disabled parking spaces in Raven Meadows multi-storey and Abbey Foregate car park. There will be NO parking or disabled parking on site.

🐶 DOGS
Your four-legged friends are welcome! Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and they are not allowed under any marquees - we have a Dog Creche, run by Dogs Trust if you'd like to drop them off in safe hands while you shop!
Please clean up after your four-legged friends, we expect this event to be very busy which may be overwhelming for some animals.

💷 CASH
We recommend bringing cash as well as your bank card, Wi-Fi can be a little hit and miss in the Quarry, and we don't want you missing out!

🍽 FOOD & DRINK
We have a whole bunch of incredible vendors onsite, but you are also welcome to bring your own food and drink, but strictly NO alcohol!

🚾 TOILETS
We will have toilets all over the Quarry for you to use. There will be blocks at both top and bottom entrances, on the hill, and near to the bandstand. We also have baby changing facilities onsite.

🥤 REUSABLE CUPS
We have our own reusable cups, thanks to our sponsors, Full Fibre Limited, these are free, and we do ask that you return these at designated return points so we can use them again!

❤️ VOLUNTEERS
We have a number of amazing volunteers that work tirelessly over the weekend, so if you see anyone in a pink t-shirt please give them a HUGE thank you, without them, Shrewsbury Food Festival wouldn't be the same!
