"Alfie has started picking up the FLOD when he wants to chill for a bit. This morning he got the FLOD and a book and climbed up onto the couch with them.
It was so cute!

P.S - FLOD SALES INFO 👀: We will begin offering FLODS for sale soon. They will be available to purchase one at a time via a lotto system - were you enter by emailing us, and then we randomly select one of the entrants, who wins the right to buy the FLOD!
We're selling FLODS via lotto for now as they are limited hand made art toys, and a lotto is the fairest way to give you FLOD fans a chance at owning one. 🤗

How FLODS came to be:

It was late April 2020, COVID-19 forced isolation time and Australian musician, stylist and artist Allie Foster decided to make her toy collecting boyfriend Josh a soft toy as a present.
So she grabbed some of her spare fabric, stick on jewels, old clothing to use as stuffing and started sewing… 🧵
Then a few hours later a cute plush toy was born!

Josh loved the toy very much and immediately gave it a name – FLOD, or Furry Loveable Outrageous Dude.
Josh also thought that other toy collectors and (eternal) children alike would love FLOD too, and suggested to Allie that she could perfect the design, and make some more; with the aim of eventually selling them.

Why? Well the first FLOD was cute, fun for all ages, expertly crafted and possessed a face overflowing with personality.

All that was needed was a bit of fine tuning:
- First extra stitching was added to the FLODS' hands and feet, to add more definition.
- Second Allie found eyes she could sew into the FLODS, as the 1st FLODS' eyes were glued on and not very durable.
- Third Allie designed a way to make the FLODS sit properly, with the help of some nifty leg placement, polly pellets and proper stuffing.

Flazoo! Fine tuning was complete.

So after lots of support and encouragement from Josh, Allie decided to make more FLODS – in various sizes, using different coloured fabrics and with slightly altered bodies and faces.
A multitude of fabulous FLODS!

Initially Allie was a bit reluctant to sell the FLODS, so Josh began sharing them on social media – where they have been lovingly received.
As a result Allie is excited about the idea of making more, selling them and getting them into loving homes.

So FLODS are now a thing and will soon be for sale.

FLODS will be available for roughly AU $85 each + postage... due to the materials alone costing about AU $15, and Allie spending about 4 hours on each one.

So watch this space for information on the debut FLOD release!
