Anyone else feel this?
If lockdown has taught me anything, it would be that walking is one of the best forms of movement to reduce mental & physical stress. Getting outside for a walk can:
✨Serve as your physical activity for the day
✨Boost your mood
✨Reduce blood pressure
✨Benefit Immunity
✨Decrease levels of cortisol

Why train online? Admittedly I was hesitant to lean into the idea of training online when Covid hit. However, my clients have expressed how online training has provided them unique perks that they didn’t have at a gym:
1. Accessibility- all you need is your device & wifi to get a good workout in. Less hurdles to cross to get to your workout!
2. Affordability- no pricey gym memberships required & if you train in a group you can get focused coaching that’s also affordable
3. Awareness- it is much easier to focus on your movement quality & build body awareness when you are in a comfortable/no-judgement space like your home

1. 🧘‍♀️Guided Movement is an effective way to be mindful in your body. Being lead through movement without having to think about what to do next allows you to focus on your movement quality & notice areas or tension in your body.
2. 🌬Breathing Slowly with deep diaphragmatic breaths can be an instantaneous way to calm your nervous system & ground you.
3. 📕Focusing on one task at a time not only allows you to be present to what your doing but also teaches your mind the skill of deep focus.
4. 🍎Eating slowly is tough but allows you to enjoy your food for longer, take a break from work, & helps your gut better digest.
