*Indian Army Day* 15 January
Army Day is celebrated on 15 January every year in India, in recognition of Field Marshal Kodandera M. Cariappa's (then a Lieutenant General) taking over as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army from General Fransis Bucher, the last British Commander-in-Chief of India, on 15 January 1949. The day is celebrated in the form of parades and other military shows in the national capital New Delhi as well as in all headquarters. Army Day marks a day to salute the valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the country and its citizens.

विजय दिवस 16 दिसम्बर को 1971 के युद्ध में पाकिस्तान पर भारत की जीत के कारण मनाया जाता है। इस युद्ध के अंत के बाद 93,000 पाकिस्तानी सेना ने आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया था। साल 1971 के युद्ध में भारत ने पाकिस्तान को करारी परास्त किया, जिसके बाद पूर्वी पाकिस्तान स्वतंत्र हो गया, जो आज बांग्लादेश के नाम से जाना जाता है। यह युद्ध भारत के लिए ऐतिहासिक और हर देशवासी के हृदय में उमंग पैदा करने वाला साबित हुआ।[1]
देश भर में 16 दिसम्बर को विजय दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। वर्ष 1971 के युद्ध में करीब 3,900 भारतीय सैनिक वीरगति को प्राप्त हो गए थे, जबकि 9,851 घायल हो गए थे। पूर्वी पाकिस्तान में पाकिस्तानी बलों के कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल एएके नियाजी ने भारत के पूर्वी सैन्य कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल जगजीत सिंह अरोड़ा के समक्ष आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया था, जिसके बाद 17 दिसंबर को 93,000 पाकिस्तानी सैनिकों को युद्धबंदी बनाया गया।

वल्लभभाई झावेरभाई पटेल (३१ अक्टूबर १८७५ – १५ दिसम्बर १९५०), जो सरदार पटेल के नाम से लोकप्रिय थे, एक भारतीय राजनीतिज्ञ थे। उन्होंने भारत के पहले उप-प्रधानमंत्री के रूप में कार्य किया। वे एक भारतीय अधिवक्ता और राजनेता थे, जो भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के एक वरिष्ठ नेता और भारतीय गणराज्य के संस्थापक पिता थे जिन्होंने स्वतंत्रता के लिए देश के संघर्ष में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाई और एक एकीकृत, स्वतंत्र राष्ट्र में अपने एकीकरण का मार्गदर्शन किया। भारत और अन्य जगहों पर, उन्हें अक्सर हिंदी, उर्दू और फ़ारसी में सरदार कहा जाता था, जिसका अर्थ है "प्रमुख"। उन्होंने भारत के राजनीतिक एकीकरण और 1947 के भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध के दौरान गृह मंत्री के रूप में कार्य किया.

ही देशाच्या संरक्षण खात्याला सर्वात मोठा भरून न निघणारा खडगा व दुर्दैवी बातमी आहे. जनरल बिपीन रावत, त्यांच्या पत्नी मधुरिका रावत यांचे निधन झाले त्या सर्वांना भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजली!!!🙏🏻💐💐

महापरिनिर्वाण दिन किंवा महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस हा डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचा स्मृतिदिन असून तो ६ डिसेंबर रोजी आयोजित केला जातो.
डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकरांचे ६ डिसेंबर १९५६ रोजी दिल्ली येथे महापरिनिर्वाण (निधन) झाले होते, याच्या दुसऱ्या दिवशी ७ डिसेंबर रोजी मुंबईतील चैत्यभूमी येथे त्यांच्यावर बौद्ध पद्धतीने अंतिमसंस्कार करण्यात आले. निधनापूर्वी त्यांनी १४ ऑक्टोबर १९५६ रोजी लक्षावधी अनुयायांसह बौद्ध धर्म स्वीकारला होता, त्यांना बौद्ध लोक 'बोधिसत्व' मानतात.
आंबेडकर हे बौद्ध गुरु होते, यामुळे त्यांच्या पुण्यतिथीसाठी 'महापरिनिर्वाण' हा बौद्ध संकल्पनेतील शब्द वापरण्यात आला आहे.

Navy Day in India is celebrated on 4 December every year to recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country. 4 December was chosen as on that day in 1971, during Operation Trident, the Indian Navy sank four Pakistani vessels including PNS Khaibar, killing hundreds of Pakistani Navy personnel. On this day, those killed in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 are also remembered.

Constitution Day 2021: २६ नोव्हेंबर हा स्वतंत्र भारताच्या इतिहासातील एक विशेष दिवस आहे. या दिवशी देशभरात संविधान दिन मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा केला जातो. २६ नोव्हेंबर हा संविधान दिन म्हणून साजरा केला जातो.२६ नोव्हेंबर १९४९ रोजी भारताने औपचारिकपणे संविधान स्वीकारले. हे संविधान २६ जानेवारी १९५० रोजी लागू झाले.
भारतीय संविधान तयार करण्यासाठी एकूण दोन वर्षे ११ महिने आणि १८ दिवस लागले. आपल्या संविधानाने देशातील प्रत्येक नागरिकाला स्वतंत्र भारतात राहण्याचा समान अधिकार दिला आहे. पाश्चिमात्य संस्कृतीच्या युगात देशातील तरुणांमध्ये संविधानाची मूल्ये रुजवणे हा संविधान दिन साजरा करण्यामागचा एकमेव उद्देश आहे.
आपल्या देशाच्या संविधानाच्या निर्मितीमध्ये डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर यांचा सर्वात महत्त्वाचा वाटा होता. त्यामुळे त्यांना आदरांजली वाहण्याचे प्रतीक म्हणूनही संविधान दिन साजरा केला जातो.

विश्व पर्यावरण संरक्षण दिवस (अंग्रेज़ी: World Environment Protection Day) प्रतिवर्ष '26 नवम्बर' को मनाया जाता है। यह दिवस पर्यावरण संतुलन को बनाए रखने एवं लोगों को जागरूक करने के सन्दर्भ में सकारात्मक कदम उठाने के लिए मनाते हैं। यह दिवस 'संयुक्त राष्ट्र पर्यावरण कार्यक्रम' (यूएनईपी) के द्वारा आयोजित किया जाता है। पिछले करीब तीन दशकों से ऐसा महसूस किया जा रहा है कि वैश्विक स्तर पर वर्तमान में सबसे बड़ी समस्या पर्यावरण से जुड़ी हुई है। इस सन्दर्भ में ध्यान देने वाली बात है कि करीब दस वैश्विक पर्यावरण संधियाँ और करीब सौ के आस-पास क्षेत्रीय और द्विपक्षीय वार्ताएं एवं समझौते संपन्न किये गाये हैं। ये सभी सम्मलेन रिओ डी जेनेरियो में किये गए। पृथ्वी सम्मलेन जो कि 1992 के संयुक्त राष्ट्र पर्यावरण और विकास कार्यक्रम के आलोक में किये गए हैं। रिओ डी जेनेरियो में किया गया सम्मलेन अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पर्यावरण से जुड़े सम्मेलनों एवं नीतियों के सन्दर्भ में अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण विन्दु था।

HISTORY OF WORLD TELEVISION DAY
In 1927, a 21 year old inventor by the name of Philo Taylor Farnsworth invented the world’s first electronic television. He lived in a home without electricity until he was 14 years old. In high school, he began to think of a system that could capture moving pictures, change them into a code, and them move those images with radio waves to different devices. He was years ahead of the mechanical television system as his structure captured moving images using a beam of electrons. Farnsworth later famously transmitted the image of a dollar sign using his television after a fellow inventor asked “When are we going to see some dollars from this thing?” Neither of them knew the television would become the emblem for an international day promoting the spread of global information.
On November 21 and 22 in 1996, the United Nations held the first World Television Forum. Here, leading media figures met to discuss the growing significance of television in the rapidly changing world and consider how they might enhance their mutual cooperation. UN leaders recognized that television could bring attention to conflicts, raise awareness of threats to peace and security, and sharpen focus on social and economic issues. Television was acknowledged as a major tool in informing, channeling, and affecting public opinion, having an undoubtable presence and influence on world politics. Because of this event, the UN General Assembly decided to name November 21 World Television Day, not to celebrate the object itself, but the symbol for communication and globalization in the contemporary world that it represents.
