Our team recently hosted a workshop on academic writing and publishing for the EPP Mosul research group.
The workshop was held in Erbil by Dr Sherko Kirmanj and Kamaran Mohammad who shared their expertise on publishing in academia.

Our PhD network have been in Northern Ireland this week.
Before a seminar at Ulster University, the group embarked on a guided tour of Belfast to learn about The Troubles, through the eyes of those who lived, worked, and fought through the conflict.

Our Koya research group gathered this week to discuss the pivotal role that education can play in peace building.
The seminar - which was hosted by Khidher Domle and Dr Kamaran Palaani - also discussed the importance of reconciliation and social cohesion.
