A great opportunity for students that are interested in Math/Finance 🤑
An actuary is a business professional who uses mathematical and financial tools to help identify and manage risk, so it's a great career for students who are strong mathematically but who are not necessarily interested in teaching. It's also great for students who like business and have good math aptitude.
There is a one-week summer program through Lebanon Valley College (Pennsylvania) for 2023 Seniors who want to learn more about the profession.

Ms. Lonergan and I accompanied NBHS students on a tour of Oakland University’s campus with a focus on their Education majors in Pawley Hall. Oakland University provided lunch from their excellent Pioneer Food Court and OU Admissions Representative Katrina Adrian, popped in to answer any lingering questions our students may have had. Our tour guide, Undergraduate Admissions Ambassador Brooke, did an excellent job of promoting her school and giving detailed information on what the university has to offer! Thank you Oakland University!!
