🤖 Messenger Ads Using Chatbots 🤖

WWF created a friendly Messenger experience that asked people four simple questions about the gift recipient before suggesting the ideal animal to adopt and providing a link to the relevant signup page on the WWF website.

Next, WWF UK created a mobile-friendly video and photo ads that, when clicked, opened up the Messenger experience.

Because it's animal adoption offering makes an ideal educational children’s gift, WWF UK targeted ads to parents and grandparents, people interested in children’s films featuring animals and people displaying intent to purchase children’s gifts as well as broad audiences.

WWF UK found that its target audiences embraced the opportunity to engage with the gift-finding business experience on Messenger.

Generating 193 sales conversions in 14 days

😲 The numbers don’t lie!

The latest figures show that there are 3.78 billion social media users worldwide in 2021 a 5% increase from a year ago.

It is also 920 million more than the number of social users in 2017, which represents a whopping 32.2% jump in just five years. The average annual growth rate over this period is 7.2%.

Going forward, while the number of social media users will continue to increase, growth is expected to plateau. The average annual growth rate from 2022 to 2025 is forecast at 3.9%.

Despite the slowdown, it’s clear that social media will continue to be a part of consumers’ daily lives, with smartphones and mobile devices as the main driving force. As it stands, social media statistics show that more than nine in ten (91%) social media users use mobile devices to access social networks.

Such statistics clearly show the growing trend and reliance of consumers on social media, indicating a clear opportunity for leveraging social media in your marketing plan.

Is Facebook ad cost increasing? 🧐

There are lots of factors you can look at to determine if the cost is increasing or decreasing.

We have focused on the CPC (cost per click).

According to Ad Espresso when comparing 2019 to 2020 we saw a decrease in the average cost per click.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused panic among a lot of business owners who had to decrease their ad spend almost immediately causing the ad cost to be lowered.

With people reducing their ad spend this is a great time to start increasing yours and taking advantage of the lower costs and less competition.

6 reasons why your Ads don’t work!

If done correctly Ads can have a fantastic return on investment and greatly increase your revenue!

However it is easy to get it wrong here are the most common mistakes…

1, Audience:
- Your audience is not defined.
- Your audience size is too big or too small.�
2, Ad creative:
- Your Ad creative isn’t engaging enough and doesn’t make me want to stop scrolling.
- Too much text on your image, less then 20% is recommended.�
3, Ad copy:
- Your headline doesn’t grab my attention.
- Your copy isn’t engaging enough, it doesn’t entice me into taking action.�
4, Targeting:
- You haven’t selected the right demographic of people to see your Ad.
- Not using location or age-based targeting.�
5, Retargeting
- Not retarget the people who have interacted with your brand but not taken action yet.�
6, Consistency:
- Consistency in your message, does your landing page match the Ad?
- Does the Ad copy match the creative?

📦 How Amazon uses Facebook ads 📦

Amazon is one of the biggest advertisers on the planet and there is a lot to be learned from how they run their advertising campaigns.

One of the most profitable campaign you can run on Facebook is a type of retargeting campaign.

➡️ Let me give you an example…

Have you ever been on Amazon and looked at a product/s and decided not to buy?

Did you later see that exact product/s on your social feed?

That’s what we call a dynamic retargeting ad.

What makes this ad type so powerful is that it shows you product/s you have already looked at, meaning the chances of you finalising the purchase are much higher than if it was a cold ad.

If your website has a product catalog you can run a dynamic retargeting ad and you probably should!

We use a similar retargeting method in our lead generation campaigns to increase the amount of leads we acquire and reduce the overall cost per lead.

🚀Boosted Posts vs Facebook Ads Manager🚀

Facebook’s algorithm has made it increasingly difficult for brands to get their content in-front of their audience, with organic reach on Facebook reported to be as low as 1-3% of your followers!

To combat this a lot of businesses have set aside a budget to promote content, when doing this it’s easy to hit boost on your Facebook or Instagram posts but it’s likely not the best option for your business.

Boosting posts allows you to deliver the post in-front of users who fit a general targeting parameter, which will give your post more reach.

The truth is you may get extra engagement but those people are less likely to have a significant impact on your business unless you’re lucky.

❌ Boosting posts doesn’t fully take advantage of Facebook ad platform!

✅ Instead of boosting posts use Facebook Ads Manager to create highly targeting ads to drive your customers and take full advantage of the ads platform!

How to reduce your Facebook ad cost?

When advertising a lot of people often overlook a few simple things that could be the difference of a successful marketing campaign and an unsuccessful one.

That’s not to say you won’t make money if you’re not doing these things, it’s just very likely you will get a better return on investment if you do.

Tracking and retargeting!

This couldn’t be a more powerful tool in your marketing strategy so we have broken it in to 3 simple steps.

1, Install a Facebook pixel to your website.
2, Create a retargeting ad for people who viewed your website but didn’t purchase, sign up or convert.
3, Adjust the remarking ad budget so it has a frequency of 6-12 (seen by customer 6-12 times).

Note:
A remarking campaign only works if you have traffic going to your website already organically or though a separate ad.

Apparently they will give you advice on your tax and any benefits you can claim for.
