Ego is like a bug that contains all the limitations and negativity in the world. You must deal with this one bug. You can make the bug a cozy little home, keeping it as a pet and just love it up. You can squash it, or you can set it free. It’s up to you.
What if your mission right now is to find a way to deal with this one bug in a way that puts your higher self back in charge as the leader? What if this is how you liberate your soul?
Free yourself from limited living by loving and accepting yourself more and more. Otherwise, with each micro thought of negativity, we tie ourselves in knots and wonder why we feel so “squeezed” by life.
Thank you Dr. Asha Menon!
Mercy towards others is a great gift, but don’t become ruthless towards yourself in the process.
Even if you don’t know where your life is going, and you can’t control it, you can shape yourself within it. When you shape yourself, life transforms around you. - Josh Solomon

Depressing or Inspiring? (Winter)
You reap what you sow. What you look for you will find. What you put your attention on you will magnify like hearing your name mentioned at a cocktail party, or unexpectedly seeing a friend's face in a crowd; suddenly her face becomes clear and the crowd becomes blurry.
If you look for the negative, what is wrong and broken, you will either find it or create it.
Just as if you look for what is beautiful and positive you will either find it or create it. Which world would you find, create, and live in?
There is so much we can learn from nature around us (and within us) if we pay attention. You don't see trees slamming Red Bulls saying, "I'll sleep when I'm dead", followed by them burning out from Adrenal Fatigue and dropping prematurely.
When I saw the first totally bare, leafless tree of the season a few weeks ago, I felt a little tug in my heart. My initial thought was, "That's kind of depressing". I have really been enjoying the awesome beauty of the Autumn trees.
On second thought, I realized I didn't have to believe the thought that a bare tree = depressing. I knew nature had a better story to tell than that and I wasn't going to allow my mind to sustain such a small, drab one.
After all nothing had changed between the moment of "life is dandy" to "that's kind of depressing" other than a thought and the meaning I made up around a bare tree. There was no less sunshine or vitamin D in that millisecond. Could it be that Winter Blues was planted by a seed of negative thinking?
Ok, universe, lay it on me. What is so wonderful about a completely bare tree? And then it occurred to me. This tree has not just let some stuff go, it has completely surrendered its grip and attachment! It may not have done it all at once but it got there at its own pace. A little here, a little there, sometimes in a storm of leaves where the wind whirls them around like snow flakes.
Now whenever I see a bare tree I don't think "depressing", I think "inspiring!". It serves as a reminder to completely drop any and all struggle and tension in the moment. As the Autumn heads toward Winter here in the North East we will be surrounded by reminders to let go completely...in that moment.
And I promise, nature will not leave us hanging; it never does. So, what incredible new gifts will you discover by completely surrendering your feelings of struggle, burden, and suffering? When you let go of the toxic thinking, what are you making room for? What shows up in your life?
I'd LOVE to hear what you notice in your body, mind, and life after letting go.

It's ok to mourn the loss of something you value. Grief has been associated with Autumn for thousands of years in Chinese Medical Culture. But if you allow yourself to wallow in loss for too long, you will surely miss out on the gifts around you.
For those in other climates, letting go is a natural phenomenon and can occur in any moment you are opened to it!
