This covenant, UNLIKE the one given to Moses at Sinai, was not conditional on behavior. This covenant is irrevocable. Choose sides, but choose wisely. Align your heart with the Father’s.

Sadly this perspective is taught in several main line denominations and it totally displays ignorance of the scriptures, a lack of understanding the heart of the Father, and ironically, a lack of perspective about the grace under which everyone is saved, Jew and Gentile. What you believe about Israel matters. I suggest reading the prophets, Romans 11, and Hebrews 11. And I’ll just leave this there from Jeremiah speaking of the New Covenant and who it is for: (notice the promise is for the same people who broke the covenant of Sinai.) BTW we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
31“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah. [it doesn’t say God will call a new group Israel ]
32It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to them”
declares the Lord.
33“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”
35This is what the Lord says,
he who appoints the sun
to shine by day,
who decrees the moon and stars
to shine by night,
who stirs up the sea
so that its waves roar—
the Lord Almighty is his name:
36“Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,”
declares the Lord,
“will Israel ever cease
being a nation before me.”
declares the Lord.
37This is what the Lord says:
“Only if the heavens above can be measured
and the foundations of the earth below be searched out
will I reject all the descendants of Israel
because of all they have done,”
declares the LORD. “
God has not rejected Israel because of all they have done, though they have experienced a partial hardening until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. If the Church won’t read the scriptures and be conformed to the heart of Christ in this matter, we are going to have to answer to the Father. Remember the parable Jesus taught about the servant who had been forgiven a huge debt and then wouldn’t forgive the sin of his servant. What happened to that wicked servant? 31When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.
32“Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ 34In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.”

What you believe about Israel matters. If you have thought that the “Old” Testanent have all been replaced with the new and therefore you don’t need to read what the prophets have said from God concerning Israel, then you won’t likely understand God’s heart for Israel. The only covenant that was replaced was the one from Sinai. God tells us in the “Old” testament, about the New Testament and it’s purpose in Jeremiah. Do you read the prophets and the psalms? If not you probably don’t understand God’s heart for Israel. Sadly several main denominations teach that Israel has sinned so much that God has rejected them forever. This hideous teaching goes against scriptures in both halves of your Bible. (Reference Hebrews 11 and Romans 11 on the right side and on the left side you will find it all over but especially in the prophets.) Israel’s sin, like our sins, doesn’t negate God’s faithfulness and all His promises are Yes and Amen. If God’s promises to Israel are nullified then how will you expect yours to be fulfilled? He is faithful even when we are faithless. Doctrine matters and has far reaching effects. What you believe about Israel matters, if you don’t know what God says about Israel start reading the prophets. His heart is always redemption.

The Woman in the Wilderness
Who is the woman in Rev 12?
“A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. 5She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. 6The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
7Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
10Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
12Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”
13When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. 15Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. 16But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.”
The Dragon is obviously Satan. The Child caught up to Heaven to His throne and who will rule the nations with an iron scepter is Jesus. The ones who hold “fast to their testimony about Jesus” (who are persecuted by Satan) are obviously Christians. Who is the woman is 12 stars above her head? She is Israel.

I will show my love to the one I called ‘Not my loved one. ’
I will say to those called ‘Not my people, ’ ‘You are my people’;

"The Great and Sad Disconnect"
The purpose of this Journey through the Gospel of Luke is to hopefully, and prayerfully draw the lukewarm, and cold churches back to our Lord Elohims Ways and Torah. Those who have strayed far from, or even fully have disconnected from our LORD's Way - His Instructions, ordinances, Statutes, and Moedim (Divinely Set apart Appointed Holy Days) as was Spoken through and given to Moses on Mount Sinai.
This is in no way to disrespect or Judge anyone or any church (that will be done by YHVH Himself) but only to Warn of Repentance in Love before that Great but terrible Day comes when He will return to gather us believers but also to Judge the Church and separate the wheat from the tares. He comes and catches them like a Thief in the Night. It is to bring the Truth of the Scriptures into plain view.
