A new guided tasting of Malvasia in Fiera del Tartufo di Bedonia organized by GAL del Ducato sconsrl!!!

🥂 The arrival of October brings with it new events dedicated to Malvasia in Parma and Piacenza (Emilia Romagna Region - Italy).

😋 GAL del Ducato sconsrl, partner of "The Malvasia Myth" project, will organize on Sunday 22nd October a guided tasting on the occasion of "Bedonia Truffle Fair". Truffle is in fact a valuable local product, on which the LAG has developed a dedicated valorization project.

🥂 Con l’arrivo di ottobre ripartono le degustazioni a tema : dopo il Fungo Porcino di Borgotaro, è la volta del Tartufo, altro prodotto di pregio del territorio, su cui il nostro GAL ha avviato un progetto di valorizzazione dedicato.

😋 Domenica 22 ottobre alle ore 11.30, in occasione del primo weekend della Fiera del Tartufo di Bedonia, si terrà la degustazione guidata “Il Mito della Malvasia”, organizzata da GAL del Ducato in collaborazione con il Comune di Bedonia nell’ambito dell’omonimo progetto di cooperazione di cui il nostro GAL è partner insieme al GAL greco Parnonas e al GAL dell’Istria Centrale.

Even had his own small Malvasia vineyard of about 16 rows in Milan.🍇
It was granted to Leonardo by the Duke Ludovico Maria ‘Il Moro’ Sforza in 1498, as a reward for the painting “Last Supper” that Leonardo painted in the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie. The vineyard La vigna di Leonardo has been recently revived and is accessible, next to the museum. In 2018, “Leonardo’s wine” of today was produced by Malvasia di Candia Aromatica grapes.

“The Malvasia Myth” project aims at featuring and valorizing the cultural heritage of the renowned Malvasia wine. It will build an overall myth about Malvasia’s history and culture. The myth of the Malvasia, based on the cultural identity, the stories and legends of all Malvasia wine-producing regions, will involve the local communities towards the creation of a network of Malvasia regions and the development of a cultural route of wine.
