Did you know sea turtles do not have teeth? They use their beak-like mouth to grasp their food. This beak is made of keratin just like our fingernails!

Named for its roan colour (reddish-brown), Roan Antelopes are known for their striking appearance, with their reddish-brown coats, a lighter underbelly, prominent red nostrils and black and white markings across their face.
They also have long, pointed ears and impressive spiral horns that can grow up to 30 inches!
Currently, there are less than 20 Roan Antelopes in Kenya and they are all found in KWS Ruma National Park.
