This Jamaican drummer is a reggae icon, known as Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, "Horsemouth", or simply "Horsey". from reggae artists, including numerous The Gladiators, Inner Circle, Prince Far I, Sound Dimension, Gregory Isaacs, Burning Spear, Ijahman Levi, Hugh Mundell, Justin Hinds, Horace Andy, Dennis Brown, Burning Spear, Abyssinians and Pierpoljak. He starred as himself in the lead role in the movie Rockers. Wallace attended Alpha Boys School in the 1960s and early 1970s, where he studied with Lennie Hibbert. Wallace also joined The Skatalites, when they reformed in the mid-1970s. Wallace is credited with inventing the 'Rockers' rhythm. also as a DJ on a number of tracks, for example "Herb Vendor", produced by Lee Perry, and "Universal Love", released under the pseudonym Roy Mad. His only solo work, "Original Armageddon Dub", released in 1978 by Stable One, was produced by Harry J. in Kingston, Jamaica. It features tracks like "Live Good", "Fire Burn", "Tribute To His Majesty" and "I Love Reggae". Leroy participated in the consecrated film "Rockers - It's Dangerous", also released in 1978. He has played for none other than Hugh Mundell, Justin Hinds, Horace Andy, Dennis Brown, Burning Spear, Abyssinians, among other powerful reggae artists. Horsemouth began its journey in 1964, playing with bands such as The Soul Vendors, The Sound Dimension and The Soul Brothers, bands that were booked by Sir Clement ´´Coxsone´´ Dodd, owner of Studio One.
