The post on Reddit. This girl was asking what she could do about her situation and if there is anyone out there that has experienced what she was experiencing with her boyfriend. She said he complains that she smells, she baths more than 5x a day when they are at home, constantly brushing her teeth and flossing, mouthwash,she uses deodorant and body mist. She doesn't sweat and she doesn't repeat her clothes BUT the boyfriend says she smells. They might be chilling and he'd say she smells and she'd go shower...

She has asked all her friends and colleagues and they all say she doesn't smell, her mum says she doesn't smell. Doctors said she doesn't smell.

People commented and told her to break up with the guy. Some said he was Negging her and a guy wrote out the words she should use when breaking up with him and watch him scramble. He told her to pack her things without saying a word to him and when he asks her what she was doing, she should tell him she was breaking up with him because she doesn't want to be with someone who thinks she smells and her friends and family and doctors have assured her she doesn't have a problem so it must be that they are not well suited for each other.

She came back to update the post. She was moving out and he was begging her, told her he doesn't mind her smell bla bla bla... She moved back to her parents house and he came begging days later.

Apparently, his dad told him to do that to her. His dad said that's how you break a woman and make sure she doesn't go anywhere, destroy her self esteem and make her avoid nearing any man. Keep her on her toes by giving backhanded compliment so she becomes tied to you since no one can see anything good in her. This was what his father did to his mother and she never left, unfortunately for the little piece of f***l deposit, the girl is not his mother and there is Reddit and social media now, unlik his mother's time.

Damn! Imagine such emotional manipulation. Break her until she feels worthless. Mess with her mind so she needs therapy for the rest of her life. Imagine how sick someone needs to be to manipulate someone like this.

Ladies, nip every backhanded compliment in the bud, walk briskly away from every human who doesn't speak to you with kindness and consideration especially when it comes to your looks. Go and watch Fair Play to really understand what I'm saying.
