How have you learnt your daily living skills and I’m not talking about buying everything from the shop or internet?!

An old study of the occipital bone…

Super powerful bone with the great hole 😂, foremen magnum.

What’s really cool to me is the cross hairs on the internal aspect of the bone is where the falx and tentorium connect and on the outside it becomes the external occipital protuberance which the largest ligament of the body attaches to…

Morning Anatomy geekery 😂 what’s it mean? Why’s it matter?

Your cranium, your breath and head position matter that’s what. Where’s your head at?

Also, I found this interesting tidbit on esosteopathy.com:

The RTM is a membrane and a function that is present in every living cell and in every living organism. In the embryo, it is a living breathing limiting tissue, which is connected to every cell. Its function is to contain, restrain and guide growth forces. In doing so, it manifests different tissues.

Fascinating! I haven’t even had coffee yet. What do you wake up thinking about????

A wonderful statement in support of Craniosacral Therapy by HRH King Charles, given to our 3rd Breath of Life Conference in London in 2005. Here is his full statement:
"I am delighted to support this third Breath of Life Conference on approaches to holistic health. As many of you will know, I have for many years been pursuing a vision of a truly integrated healthcare system in the UK, one which brings together the best of conventional, complementary and alternative approaches. As part of this whole person approach, I am particularly keen to see a more holistic and spiritual dimension brought into mainstream healthcare.
Through the work of my Foundation for Integrated Health, we have made great strides in making complementary and alternative medicine more acceptable and available to the general public, but I am well aware that there still is a long way to go before we achieve a properly regulated system in this country.
There is no doubt that work such as yours is vital to the health and well-being of our society which is, now more than ever, so desperately in need of mental, physical and spiritual sustenance. I am convinced that your work with babies and young children, in particular, is crucial in helping to avoid the suffering of future generations by healing imbalances so early in the young lives of individuals.
I was heartened to hear that the Craniosacral Therapy community has embraced the drive towards self-regulation of the profession, with the help and support of my Foundation – a necessity if complementary therapies such as yours are to be taken seriously in the future. I have also noted the progress of the Cranial Forum, over the last few years, as it has moved towards creating a strong and cohesive group that will act as a single regulatory body for this invaluable work.
I wish you every success with this conference, and I hope that it will provide a valuable and fruitful forum for discussion and education for you all in your various professions within the healing arts."

✨YELLOW FLUORITE - Calcium Fluoride ✨
A beautiful expression of the cubic system, this mineral kingdom family member we call Fluorite.

She has found her way to me, as a guardian, for the time being, resting.

This month’s “Journey with the crystal family” sat with fluorite to deepen our relationship and connection with the cubic system. Sensing within how and where we individually relate to this beautiful being. Sharing our experiences and bringing into awareness generic writings shared within books and online, may not be how we relate to this particular family member.

Exploring with a sense of play, stillness and curiosity offers a space of relating, not only with the mineral kingdom, but also ourselves. Listening to how others sense and experience, offers a place of meeting, not of judgement, or betterment … more of being.

Fluorite has supported me whilst studying offering focus, clarity, and an easing of procrastination. As well as being there when my upper respiratory tract has felt tight, placing fluorite where I intuitively feel and her coherent resonance leading the way for a return to health.

Dancing within life alongside the mineral kingdom family members have opened so much magic within myself ever since I can remember.

How do you relate and walk alongside these beautiful beings? 🫶🏼✨🙏🏽

Happy Spring Equinox! (Tues March 19, 2024 at 11:06 pm)

WHAT TO DO ON SPRING EQUINOX
Compost this poem.
Take out all the words that remind you of winter,
words that slip frozen into the heart,
bare limbs of words that stick into the sky and shake.
Prune out dead wood;
rough ragged never gonna fruit,
done is done!
Pay attention to what is here,
not what isn't.
Send your roots into another row or field or bed.
Mow. Rake up all the grass.
Layer, as if you're expecting hail or a deep frost;
the end of winter is always unpredictable.
Add manure, plenty of manure
and call in the flies, the dung beetles, the worms.
Soon, there will be heat. Steam.
The pile will soften, break down, give in, let go.
Compost winter into spring,
take off those old clothes you've been wearing,
the despair like a hat on your head,
dig into the pile,
into the heat and the heart of what matters.
Plant your garden and remember, each year,
everything will be different;
compost what you can.
