I'm having the time of my life here in Tidal Art Centre in Lund BC. Been reworking an old sculpture, the Smoke Rings (and other works) into new performance pieces. Show info below.
conversation/installation
Open June 9 @ 6pm, exhibition runs 10-16th.
Heidi Nagtegaal invites you to join them in an immersive knit and crochet based installation, which incorporates work they've made over the last 20 years. You will be asked to put on full body outfits that Heidi had knit and crocheted which automatically makes you a part of the installation. We would then sit in the installation, and have conversations about mental health topics that come up for you. With your permission, Heidi would videotape these conversations to edit and use in future video works.
Private conversations/performances: 10am to noon. To participate, email Heidi at [email protected] to sign up for these conversations.
Open hours 1-4pm, with sculptures to be interacted with.

Marita came over this week for a tea that turned I to a drawing session. So nice to talk with her about art, organizing, politics, and new projects coming up. If you know her, you know she's a gem.
If you're around March 24, Marita is directing a play & she might be acting in it too. It's called "How to survive in the wild" from 7-9pm at SFU Woodwards location.
