I got the help of the most resistant person to change I know... my Mema. (She has gotten better 😉)
🦠I have seen the glow germ experiment done to prove that disinfectant wipes don’t pick up germs from surfaces and Norwex does, and I wanted to try it out for myself.
🚫But I don’t have any disinfectant wipes because I know how harmful they are, and I wasn’t going to go buy them for a little experiment.
🧽So I got to thinking. My Mema has these dishcloths that she loves to wash dishes with and wipe down surfaces. I wondered how well they are actually cleaning, so I asked her to help me in this demonstration.
🥽It is so much more powerful to see how well Norwex cloths work in person. They mechanically clean by picking everything up. Once they pick it up, it stays there because of the density of cloth due to the the thin fibers (1/200th of a human hair).
❓What makes Norwex different from other microfiber? Glad you asked. 🙂 The EnviroCloth and many other Norwex products contain what is called BacLock. The fibers are embedded with micro sliver, an antibacterial agent which means when wet, the cloth self-purifies. 😱
🧼In this video my Mema first cleaned with a regular dishcloth and dish soap. It pushed everything around and spread it over the surface leaving it unclean even though it looked clean WITHOUT the UV light.
💧Then she used a Norwex Textured Kitchen Cloth, travel size EnviroCloth (because my large ones are in the wash already), and a Kitchen Cloth with water only. No harmful chemicals. (She only needed one, but I wanted to see how all three performed). The kitchen counter was clean even with the UV light. The glow germ stayed in the cloth!

💦Yesterday I deep cleaned my Enviro Cloths that I use at school. (I haven’t washed these since before school started because I kept forgetting to bring them home 🧺) The first picture was before cleaning and I thought “they don’t look too dirty, but with strep and the flu going around, I’ll deep clean them anyway” and look at how nasty they really were. 🤢
👏🏻 I love knowing that my cloths are holding onto so much and I can keep cleaning without fear of it coming out.

💦 I haven’t used soap on my body or face (other than washing my hands) since January! I love that I just use a cloth and water!
