How are you taking care of yourself?

For the longest time I thought “taking care of yourself” meant dressing up
nice, doing hair and makeup. That’s totally not it. As we age our bodies change and we leave it to our age and not do anything about it. WHY? There are some health issues that we can actually fix completely on our own. After my 3rd pregnancy two years ago I was so weak physically and so forgetful. that wasn’t gonna fix itself. I really had to do a lot of work for me. With so much other distractions it wasn’t easy but managed to continue. When we let our health down one thing comes after another, than one year passes to another that becomes too complicated to fix the bigger health issues that once were manageable

Yes😁 you should feel amazing when you dress up and do your hair and makeup. hell! feel amazing even when you don’t do that at all, just taking a shower putting clean clothes is enough sometimes, especially for busy moms.

Taking care of yourself to me means nurturing your body with amazing healthy nutritious foods and supplements. Very importantly find a way of moving your beautiful body maybe with music, workouts, running, your option…

Makes such a difference on how you carry your confidence. I believe everyone is worth being healthy from inside out and you can do it. It just takes time and patience to adjust to the new way new you. Take care 😍

I was never a top notch fashionable person but used to buy designer cloths and shoes none stop. sale or no sale, if I wanted it I would buy it! no real reason. Now those designer items are collecting dust in my closet bc I don’t really care for them enough.

I worked long hrs like 10-15 hours 6 to 7 days a week. I would take 3 day breaks here and there, it was up to me what I did with my schedule. Because I felt obligated to be working longer than I needed I instantly thought “oh I deserve to spend money on my self”.

Oh Thank Goodness for the new mindset and the down experience I’m having nowadays such a relieved and relaxed feeling to be honest.

I’m glad that was in my 20s because now that’s gives me the opportunity to invest as I get older into the things that better myself instead.

-One thing I could have done differently is invest into my personal hobbies that I never got to experience bc I was too busy doing things for other people.

As a mother of 3 children loads of work in the house and responsibilities to do and surrounded by a big family that I support and always there for…besides my self?

Last year this time I said I have to much to do I can’t take care of my self

Always cooking or cleaning the house by the time I was done I couldn’t go anywhere

And self judgment saying I’ll never be back to normal again with my energy and thoughts of healthy body.

Today at 33 yrs old I literally feel 100% better than when I was 23 when I had no children, but a full time job barely any responsibilities (comparing by value)

I FINALLY made up my mind and FOUND time for Healthy eating habits that changed my life. one step at a time (if one mistake happened, started fresh the next day) I work out by progress up to 4X a week.

There is days I have a appetite I just eat what I want when I want to feel happy. That doesn’t change anything, it’s a great balance it’s been 5 years I’ve been eating healthier and still learning.

You can be a busy Mom you can have a lot of children you can have a organized house ( eventually) lol and still look and feel Hot 🔥😘🔥 you should feel good you should be happy with children and full time career there is no such thing as “oh you’re a mom now it’s ok”
