Our Chloe, the Lodge French Bulldog, was put to sleep this morning. She was fighting Meningitis and the meningitis won. She could no long stand or eat. It was time. We know she was apart of the personality of the Lodge. Fun, energetic and loving. Everyone who met her - loved her. Not to mention her Mom, Dad, Matt and Alena. We will all miss her. Thank you Chloe for 12 wonderful years, born on Dennis' birthday and passed only 2 days from my birthday. Her ashes will be layed on the NC home where she loved to run in the woods. I've been helping my Dad with snowblowing. This is very hard work especially when snow is this deep.
It's been a very busy Christmas and New Years. I got a new sweater, collar and leash, but the best was my Dad came home from California to pick me up from the spa where I was staying. I'm so tired. Family is the best - don't you agree?
Merry Christmas to "All"! This is my new Christmas Sweater, not an ugly sweater, it's Dad's red pick-up truck with a tree in the back! I love the red pick-up.
Guest checked-out this morning - used to be afraid of dogs; not any more. Thanks to me, she loves us four legged companions. We are great for human relaxation.
