Dispense

π How do cannabis customers Add to Cart?
We found that 69% of add to carts happen via quick-add on a product list page, and 27% of add to carts happen via Product Details page.
What does this tell us?
β
A majority of customers can make purchase decisions without needing the extra info in product details
β© Quick add is a must to have on your product tiles - it converts well!
So what happens when someone lands on your menu home page? π Where do they click next? Do they scroll?
We found that 95% of category clicks happen via the category icons β¨ and only 5% of clicks happen on a category list π.
What does this mean?
πΏ Cannabis customers have strong category preferences: they know what they are looking for, they are not really "browsing".
π― Customers donβt scroll the Home Page: You donβt need to create a ton of custom categories, consider 1 or 2 that you really want your customers to see.
How fast is your ecommerce menu?
Why does it matter? Speed = revenue.
Highly performant sites have:
β
More traffic
β
Better conversion rates
π° More revenue

We're in good company with Police & Thieves, another woman-owned business πͺ
From Authority Magazine with Kelsey Yates, co-owner and co-creator of Police & Thieves:
"When my partner in life and business and myself show up to a meeting and are the decision makers in the company we usually get a certain look.
Initially, we both believed it was residuals of various systemic presumptions because the reactions didnβt seem to arise from prejudice but surprise. However, it became pretty clear that the surprise reaction wasnβt who we were but that we actually were who we presented ourselves to be per our companyβs verbiage.
It is an unfortunate reality but many companies that represent themselves as safe spaces for women, minorities, and other groups on the periphery or, worse, owned by women or people of color are not in fact owned and/or controlled by women, people of color, or other groups on the periphery. This is in part why Police & Thieves is fastidious in our vetting of partnerships."

Your customer data should belong to you π
