Yes, we are indeed all amidst tides and tycoons of challenges that constantly try to drown us. But always make sure you remember WHO you are called by!

Peter started walking on the waters of the ocean, by listening to the words of Jesus Christ. Then, when he saw a huge tide approach, he panicked out of fear, and his fear caused him to sink into the waters.

He sank into the waters, neither because of the huge tide, nor the mighty boisterous wind, but only because of his fear.

We all know that our fears lay the basis for our downfall. Let us understand, where this fear originates from.
Faith comes by hearing the word of God, just as how Peter started walking on the waters by hearing the Lords’ word. Fear comes when you listen to your practical doubts and uncertainties, just like when Peter saw the tide and the boisterous wind, his fear took over, and he began to sink.

Factually, it is true that today we are surrounded by diseases, sickness, crisis, etc, everywhere we turn. But, this is also the time we need to hear more of Jesus’ words, and see more of His works’. The more we rely on Him, the more we won’t sink deeper into these, rather go afloat at ease.

If you think you are sinking already, it’s time you stop worrying. There is always Jesus, the only hope we ever need. When Peter cried to Jesus, did Jesus not pull him up and make him stand again? Jesus will always lift you! If ever you start sinking, call onto His name!
