Announcement:
The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Columbus welcomes Adrian Moore, member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated; Eta Nu Nu Chapter as President.
Adrian Moore has more than 25 years of Senior Management experience in the non-profit sector. He is a former YMCA executive leader while holding several management level positions in Chicago, New York, Houston and Minneapolis and Columbus. He currently owns his own Luxury Transportation Company and is a professional basketball trainer. This role allows him to have time to volunteer and serve the community. Adrian over the years has held numerous management roles managing staffs of up to 100 staff.
Adrian became a member of Omega Psi Phi in the Spring of 1987 on the campus of Iowa State University at the Mu Theta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. In his 35 years of Omega membership Adrian has served as Keeper of Records and Seals at Iowa State University and Vice Basileus for the Epsilon Rho Chapter in Minneapolis. Adrian was also instrumental in helping organize and implement the 78th Grand Conclave in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2012. Since arriving in Phoenix in March of 2020, Adrian has helped to reclaim more than 10 brothers, created what we call Purple Thursday’s, serves on the Reclamation Committee, Social Action and Community Policing Committees. He has also supported the chapter by being the winning sales person in the first popcorn sales fundraiser by Phi Iota. Adrian also spearheaded the family cookout held last year where over 50 Omega family members attended. Adrian hosted a workshop during this years District Meeting and is currently working with the committee to host a “fun night” during the upcoming History weekend.
Adrian holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business from Iowa State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Keller School of Management.
Adrian is community and civic minded and is a former Rotarian and former Lions Club member. Mr. Moore is also a former Toast Master and has raised over $3 million dollars during his non-profit years of work
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jala ,member of Alpha Kappa Alpha 92’), and four children, Tyler, Darrion, Kendall(Omega Man) and Phoenix. Don’t be surprised if you catch him coaching or training basketball in a local community
gym. Adrian’s greatest strength is his ability to lead and garner support of initiatives. He is a visionary and uses Best Practices to lead to strong measurable results.
