Evelyn represented for Housing Justice Now illuminating the housing crisis, clearing up moratorium confusion and calling the community into the fight.
Annalise, of Building Winston-Salem, reads the press release signed by 17 fellow organizations taking a stand against the inaction of our elected officials and the divisive rhetoric invited into our city.

We are so honored to be joined by representatives tonight from , , and .
We will supply waters as well as snacks for community members joining us. This is our very first event and we are grateful to share this day in solidarity with other important events. Tonight in Greensboro, there will be a vigil for Marcus Smith. We encourage those present with us to show up for our friends in Greensboro. We simultaneously stand in solidarity with our siblings who exercise their right to freedom of speech in other efforts tonight.

Building WSNC is an intersectional collaborative grassroots effort of the community to unite. Together, we signed off on a press release to collectively capture only a shred of the grievances and frustrations shared throughout the community.
