Old Bus Creations
We here at the OBC build wooden & metal training tools, wooden toys and other items of fancy.
I started making sharp and shiny things when I was a teenager. Nowadays I make strength training tools for martial arts and aficionados of all shapes and sizes. The idea is to practice moves slowly to build strength in muscles you didn’t know where there. Reclaimed metal with either oak, poplar, and walnut.
This is what happens when you watch too much Star Wars…one tends to get a little carried away…
Sometimes you just need to waive a magic wand and make everything better. Magic not included…
For all my med/trekki friends!
Can you guess what we made?
Coming soon to an art festival near you! Maybe…I don’t know where everyone lives….might be more near us…I’ve made it awkward, haven’t I…
Creating a mixture of metal dust and saw dust as the new generation of Heavy Sticks are created. Great for any martial arts workout! You got the weight and blade orientation of a weapon that triggers muscles you wouldn’t necessarily target otherwise without the danger of using a real weapon. Perfect for small spaces or out in the park. From Tai Chi to Escrima.
Raven skull magnets now available!! No actual birds were harmed, all were 3D printed and crafted by us in the Bus!🐦⬛
New cutting stand is complete! Getting ready for pumpkin chopping season!
Trying to get the crew together for a group photo can be challenging. Almost have to pull the batteries to get them to stand still. 2 more almost done to add to the collection. Check back later for pics.
Still playing in the bus but trying different things as of lately. This is a Maori chief club I spotted in a museum a while back and it stuck in my head until I could make it.

Even at 3/4 the size this Stormtrooper K2 Security Droid is still impressive. Still a few details to finish including eye lights but he is all set to ring in the new year!
Doctor Droid is at again today…they say cold hands means a warm heart but I’m not sure that is the case with this doc.
The future of healthcare is now! Our DD unit is trying new things today.
Our July droid build is complete! K2 is done and already is full of sass…figures. The body will take more than a month or so and lots of filament so probably only available for commission only.

Our next build is going to have to be done in two parts just given the size of this brute. July Droid Build features the head of the OOM Series Security Droid.
Our June Droid build is almost complete!! Time to figure a name and colors. Any ideas?
Talk about getting ahead in life. Little guy coming right along with the head assembly mostly completed. Trying to keep up with the priming so it’s not overwhelming at the end. June Droid Build continues!
