SCRIPTURE READING: GALATIANS 3:26

```Did you know that God calls you a child?```
"For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus." [NLT]

👉🏻God calls us his children.
👉🏻We are not supposed to worry, we should carry everything to God.
👉🏻God does not distinguish us by class, social status or physical might.We are all equal before God.
👉🏻It is in God's mercy for one to receive before you. But He will definitely answer you too.
👉🏻 Please do not give up, trust God that He will not forsake you. He shall sustain you like He did in the past.
👉🏻John 14:19-21 [ If you love Jesus, he will be in you and you in him. Love his ways and he will appear to you.]

LESSONS
1. Stop under-rating yourself before men.
2. The lord works at the right time.
3. Because we are all his children, he hears our prayers at first hand.
4. We are saved only by faith in Jesus Christ.

Introduction
We are not familiar with Thanksgiving as a habit. Yet we should thank the little we have so that God gives us what is more. It should be a habit in our daily discipline. We should always be grateful for what God has done to us.

Scripture: Luke 17:11-19
It is the story of Jesus cleansing ten lepers. All 10 were cleansed but only one came back to thank Jesus with gratitude.

Lessons
1. Be thankful even in hard circumstances
*Their miracle began with faith and it was made permanent to he who gave thanks.

2. Be thankful in the work of God's kindness.

3. Your thankfulness must lead into an action.

4. A life of thankfulness is a life of wellness.

SCRIPTURE: Esther 4:2-10

We study the story of Esther and how she risked her life to save the Jews.

👉There is no rise without a risk.

👉There's no reach without a risk.

The major difference between Whites and African is because Whites are typical risk takers. [The fear of taking risks in Africa seems to be systematic because government policy also gives no space for inventors to risk trying out their ideas, inventions and innovations. There are sayings that were adopted and operationalized which stop us from development and expansion. For example, "A bird at hand is worth two in the bush". ]

PERSONALITIES THAT TOOK RISKS

1. Mordecai in Esther 2:2-4
2. Esther in the book of Esther 4:15-17
3. Moses in Exodus
4. Daniel in the book of Daniel 1:8-11 and Daniel 6.
5. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the book of Daniel 3:16-18
6. David in 1Samuel 17:46
7. Martin Luther who liberated us from the law of Roman Catholics.
7. Martin Luther King Jr who stood in 1963 who ignited the final liberation of slaves in Africa.
8. Rose Packs who led to the ban on discrimination of blacks in public transport means.
9. Jesus Christ, who died for you and me.

The fear that usually surrounds us is unreal. Face your fears, take the risk and advance at every step forward. The outcome will amaze you and justify the worth of a risk.

The biggest source of negative energy is fear. Until you stick out your neck, you can't get out of the crowd.

The end of your fear is the start of your future.

The General Overseer (GO) of National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches - Uganda (NFBPC), Bp. Dr. Moses Odongo in company of the Prime Minister (PM), Dr. James Kisaale took us by surprise while we were in a preparation meeting for the forthcoming Youth Convention 2024 after our church services.

We had a moment with them and they responded to questions from the youths. The GO promised to attend our conference on the day we shall allocate him.

The PM pledge 100 bags of cement towards our church building project.

We thank God for such a blessing.

ARCHBISHOP'S PASTORAL VISIT TO NDEJJE EVANGELICAL CHURCH GO. BP. Dr. Moses Odongo alongside PM. Dr. James Kisaale visited Ndejje Evangelical Church and had a longer interaction with the youth leaders
