On behalf of Nan Madol en Ihmw Incorporated (Board and Management), I wish to extend my sincere appreciation and thanks to H.E Ambassador Zheng and members of your diplomatic mission to the Federated States of Micronesia, because of the assistance rendered through approval of our proposal for replanting of stable food crops in Madolenihmw.

Also, I wish to extend my sincere appreciation and thanks to the Honorable Secretary Kandhi Elieizar and staff of this department for endorsing and facilitating our request through proper channel and on to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.

Today is another memorable and historical day in the history of our relationship. (the bilateral relationship between China and the FSM), we are all here to witness the hand-over ceremony of a donation to assist in the replanting of stable food crops in Madolenihmw.

China and Madolenihmw through Pohnpei State Government and FSM share a bit long history of friendly exchanges. If we recall, ten years ago China donated funds through this organization and renovated Kingdom Hall on Temwen Island adjacent to Nan Madol Ruins. Prior to this, traditional leaders of Madolenihmw endorsed a land parcel to accommodate needs of China Pilot farm.

With your assistance through approval of this proposal, it is timely with the outbreak of COVID 19 global pandemic, so we promise to work very closely with the department of Foreign Affairs and other relevant agencies in the implementation of this project.
