Trauma Alchemist
Somatic + energy healing
Trauma alchemy in community, guided with love
Multi-modality
This week in The Melanated Queen has been a big one - our first somatic practice which was breathwork. There are ways you can breathe (under the guidance of a professional) that take you into a trancelike state where you no longer really know what you’re doing, you’re just allowing the breath to release trauma from your body where it’s stored. It’s SO powerful and so hard to explain. This is what we experienced this week.
We’re only on week 3 and we’re going so deep in the sessions but also in the chat. All challenging the narrative that Indian women can’t be friends. We can and we are, and not just surface level friends. Friends on a deep deep level, friends sharing about all of the big things, friends sharing our feelings and thoughts and receiving support, all while remaining in our beautiful feminine energy.
This is sisterhood. This is The Melanated Queen ✨✨✨
The Melanated Queen, brown girl, Indian woman, trauma, somatic, healing, release, sister circle, female infanticide, archetypes, feminine, limiting beliefs, breathwork, mother wound, mother in law, mil, rage release, betrayal wound, masculine dynamics, feminine expression, throat chakra activation, embodiment
I see this a lot in the white wellbeing space and it kinda irritates me, because I come from a culture which has very different subconscious bias. Where we have ultimate respect for elders, respect for the wisdom that we do not understand, and humility built into the teachings of my faith.
You may be the cycle breaker, AND so were your parents in some way. So were your grandparents. So were their parents. You aren’t some kind of chosen one, the only one in your lineage to be chosen to break cycles.
The ego loves to think we are important. Of course we are SO important. Our energy is potent and we can literally do anything. AND we aren’t more important than those that came before us.
Agree?
We aren’t even a week into The Melanated Queen but we are going DEEP. Our opening ceremony was so nourishing + the chat is on 🔥
Sister support, supporting one another with counteracting people pleasing (a brown girl core wound), celebrating our community + leaning into the self love rituals in between sessions.
I knew this container would be potent but WOW.

ALIGN is deep and intense, as well as fun and relaxing. I’m addicted to retreats because it’s a holiday but also healing, meeting new people and going out of your comfort zone.
It’s all of the things, and we bring all of our humanness to the retreat. The highs and the lows, the vulnerability and the celebrations.
This feels really alive for me right now because I’m deep in a place of alchemising pain. And honestly it has lit up everything in my life, including this retreat. I can’t tell you how alive it feels and how many downloads I’m receiving - the theme is REBIRTH and we will be rising from the ashes.
We still have one room left so if you’ve been umming and ahhing…here’s your sign to DO IT 🔥
Our bodies are constantly in communication with us. When we don’t listen, the voices get louder.
Obviously I’m not saying that ALIGN, the Italy retreat, heals physical ailments. What it does do though, is start to heal trauma and create nervous system resilience, so that we can hold our trauma with a little more ease.
And there are countless studies at this stage on how the body keeps the score. How autoimmune illnesses (many illnesses in fact) are linked to trauma.
So if your body is screaming at you…listen. Get support. Ease the load by starting to heal from trauma.
Loving on you all X
Heading into Week 7 of the 6 month trauma healing programme, Pathway to Happiness, and here are some screenshots from the WhatsApp group. Giving + receiving support, learnings, and the beginnings of the shifts as we peel off the layers of trauma.
Thanking past me for believing that there are people out there willing to show up every week for 6 months to heal their trauma with me and my handpicked guest facilitators. It seemed crazy, even my coach thought so 😂 but there’s proof here that 1. It works and 2. People are ready to dedicate time and £ to healing their trauma. And we’re still only in our first phase of trauma healing 🐍
and so grateful for you adding your magic to the programme so far. 🧡
P2H only runs once a year. Next cohort is 2025, DM and I’ll let you know how to sign up.
Are you ready for your uplevel?
Witnessing someone stuck where we used to be, and not rescuing them, is uncomfortable. It’s much easier to put energy into fixing them instead, but that’s not as empowering as them doing it themselves.
Want to release the discomfort of watching this in someone else? Join one of our in-person healing events: link in bio X
Mums, I’m not trying to make you feel even more mum guilt. You’ve got that covered on your own 🥲
What I’m saying is - if you were to take time for yourself, to heal - you will effortlessly become a better parent.
You’ll have more capacity to hold space for your young people when they’re triggering you.
You’ll be able to see what’s your s**t and separate that from your child’s big feelings in those triggering moments.
You’ll be able to hold an energy of peace, a softness, an innate nourishing energy that your children will benefit from.
And, you’ll be clearing generational traumas that got passed from your parents to you, so that they don’t get passed on to your children.
I’m not a mum, but I can’t think of anything more fulfilling.
To all the mums out there - you’re doing great. You deserve to heal. You deserve to focus on you. It’ll be the best thing you ever did.
showing up with the truth 💣

Victimhood is the hardest block. We can notice it in others so easily, but not in ourselves. That’s because our victimhood exists as a subconscious construct that’s supposed to keep us safe.
We don’t just want to be surviving though. We want to be thriving.
And this is exactly why we do trauma work. So we can thrive (whatever that looks like for each of us).
There are two ways to work with me: 121 or in my powerful group container, Pathway to Happiness.
DM ‘HAPPINESS’ for details.
The Pathway to Happiness programme is here ✨
Your one stop shop for trauma healing, in person, in London.
6 months of support within a deep, intimate container of womxn doing the work alongside you. Guided by your favourite Trauma Alchemist, with guest sessions by none other than .x + others 🧡
DM or comment HAPPINESS to book a 30 min discovery call to check if you’re the right fit for this once a year programme.
If you want to be in a different place in June 2024, get the support to go further and deeper than you’ve ever been. It will take commitment to yourself and leaning into discomfort, but you don’t have to do it alone my loves 🧡
The path to growth and fulfilment is paved with discomfort...it's the truth, and the quicker we accept it, the sooner our life really begins. When we step outside of our comfort zone, we are forced to face our fears and challenges. Plus, it's a way we can work on our nervous system to make it more resilient. Reframe it as an opportunity for growth rather than something scary.
There are many ways to lean into discomfort. Here are a few ideas:
Try something new. If you've always wanted to learn how to play the guitar, sign up for a class. If you've always wanted to travel to a new country, book a ticket.
Face your fears. What are you afraid of? Public speaking? Rejection? Failure? Once you know what you're afraid of, just go for it. Don't overthink.
Ask for help. Don't be afraid to ask for help from others. Sometimes, all you need is a little support to get through a difficult time, and it can be SO HARD asking for help.
NOTE: Don't push yourself too far that you feel incredibly unsafe + you are actually betraying yourself in the process. Nervous system work is best when it's slow. Find your edge and go there.
If you want support to go there, The Winter Reset is the perfect thing to start with. Open to beginners and those completely new to trauma work, we'll alchemise trauma, set 2024 intentions, make new friends + leave feeling lighter. Head to the this link to sign up:

Trauma happens in relationship. We inflict trauma on others while others inflict trauma on us, or we experience trauma through the loss of those close to us. This is why healing trauma heals relationships as well as ourself, and ends the cycle of generational trauma. It’s the only thing we can do, really - work on ourselves. We are the change-makers 🐍🙏🏽 and speaking as someone who has delved really deep into their trauma healing - it’s a privilege to do this work.

READ ON TO DIP YOUR TOE IN TRAUMA HEALING W/ ME
🐍 You're courageous. Look at those big steps you've taken in your life - and the small ones. Look at how far you've come from where you were, where you thought you'd be.
We all have trauma, some of which we're aware of and some of which we may not be, yet (though our body most certainly is).
My approach to trauma healing involves getting straight into it (in a safe + held way) by gently letting the light into what I call our Pandora's box—a world of emotions, memories, and experiences that have been tucked away for too long.
It's a journey that requires courage to acknowledge your past, a journey towards rediscovering your innate happiness. And not everyone is ready for their rebirth.
Trauma isn't just a mental experience; trauma gets stored within the body. That's why I focus on somatic work - it's the only way to truly release the trauma that we carry around with us.
Trauma alchemy may seem daunting, but it's actually honestly so empowering. It's about finding the strength to face discomfort head-on and emerge as the resilient, empowered person that you always were.
Want to dip your toe in trauma healing with me? The Winter Reset is a day retreat in Central London on Sunday, 3rd December where we'll alchemise trauma, set 2024 intentions, make new friends + leave feeling lighter. Head to the link in bio to sign up.
Thank you so much Fire and Alchemy Spiritual Sanctuary 🧡
See you, everyone!✨
❤️Join Rehmat in reclaiming your relationship with your body with this powerful ceremony, based on the Ayurvedic practice of Abhyanga.
❤️The way we see ourselves deeply impacts every relationship + every endeavour in life. Often the shame we feel about our body isn't ours; it was put on us by another who judged our body or took away our body autonomy - usually in childhood - and we took those beliefs on as if they were our own.
❤️In this Self Love Ceremony, we get to release all of the patterns and beliefs we've held about our bodies, and build a more loving, nurturing + stronger relationship with them.
Abhyanga is an ancient self massage practice from the Indian subcontinent, and together with the healing powers of intention, vulnerability, meditation and affirmation, we'll massage a special blend of oils into the skin whilst we rebirth a new relationship with our body.

Like many, I’m thinking of the children who have witnessed the unspeakable over the last few days. There are no words, nor do I wish to promote my business off the back of these terrible events, so instead I’m sharing a quote from The Body Keeps The Score. For the lucky ones, their trauma will stay with them for some time and my heart aches that this is the cycle of trauma: we humans keep traumatising each other over and over.
The sacral chakra is about two inches below the belly button and encompasses our reproductive organs as well as the hips. It is associated with creativity, sexuality, and emotions. When the sacral chakra is blocked, we feel stuck, uninspired, and disconnected from our emotions. This is because we store traumas in our sacral chakra particularly.
There are many ways to heal the sacral chakra. Here are a few ideas:
Water. The sacral chakra is associated with the element of water, so spending time in or around water can help to balance this chakra. Swim in a lake, have a bath or shower with epsom salts, or just sit by a river and journal.
Dance. Dancing is a great way to express your creativity and to connect with your body. Put on some music and let loose!
Trauma alchemy. The only way to truly heal is to do trauma alchemy work, and this must be done with a trained practitioner. Breathwork, cacao ceremonies and somatic movement are all powerful tools.
Use essential oils. Certain essential oils, such as orange, rose, and ylang-ylang, can help to balance the sacral chakra. Add a few drops of these oils to your bath or diffuser.
Meditate. Meditation can help you to connect with your inner self and to notice and release any blockages in the sacral chakra. There are many different types of meditation, so find one that works for you. I will soon be releasing guided meditations for you to buy on my website - check back soon.
If you're feeling stuck in your creative flow, I invite you to try some of these tips to heal your sacral chakra. You may be surprised at how much better you feel!
