NSS unit of Smt PN Doshi Women's College Ghatkopar Mumbai has organised FY NSS orientation and a session on POCSO act by Siddheshwar Bhosale, Chetna College, Bandra today

13 NSS volunteers of Smt. P. N Doshi Women's College Ghatkopar volunteered for Grand Finale, Youth festival, SNDT Women's University, Churchgate Campus on 05 and 06 October 2023.

Beauty kit distribution program was organised on October 05, 2023 by Cavin care. 600 beauty kits were distributed to students by NSS Unit at free of cost.

Organized NSS advisory meeting, discussed the activities conducted in the last academic year, received sanction for the NSS activity Calender and budget, included Red Ribbon club Activities in the calender. The meeting was really engaging and fruitful with the suggestions of Hon. members of the advisory meeting.

The unit is privileged to inaugurate the activity at the hands of Hon Registrar, Dr. Vilas Chandivadekar Sir SNDT Women's University Mumbai and University NSS coordinator Dr. Nitin PrabhuTendulkar Sir and principal Dr. Asha Menon.

NSS UNIT has organised A street play on Cancer Awareness by Lubrizol employees, Street play scripted by the Indian Cancer Society today. NSS volunteers, and students were the audience.

A session on feminine hygiene and free Sanitary Pad distribution drive by P&G was organized by NSS unit with Women development cell of the college.
1000 kits were distributed.

Today, Celebrated 100 years of SPRJ Kanyashala Trust by organizing a Walkathon on the theme of Empowering Girls through Education on the occasion of National Sports day. 350 students and 40 teachers and non teaching staff participated in the Walkathon.
It was jointly organized by NSS Unit, Sorts committee and NCC.

On the occasion of 64th Foundation Day of the College NSS Volunteers were felicitated for their exceptional contribution at University, State level and National Level activities
Ms. Jyoti Singh, Ms. Kavita Yadav, and Ms. Sakshi Sathi were appreciated and felicitated on 25th August 2023. Ms Sakshi Sathe was participating in University Level Leadership Camp so her certificate of appreciation was accepted by NSS program officer.

Dear Students we are glad to inform you that NSS unit
of our college has organized Tricolour Making Activity as part of Ghar Ghar Tiranga Campaign on Monday, 8 August 2022 at 11:00am in your respective classes.
You are requested to participate in the activity and make a tricolour.
Please note that the cloth for the tricolour, glue/ fevicol/ any other adhesive, will be provided.
Students are expected to make a tricolour (Tiranga) with maximum care maintain the sanctity of our national flag. While making the tricolour you can take photographs and share on social media with Har Ghar Tiranga Tag.
