Congratulations to Mili Watts and Trent Thompson from Rabun County High School! Mili and Trent are our very first Fidelis Militus recipients from RCHS. Mili and Trent were chosen for their academic and athletic leadership both in the classroom and on the fields. We can’t wait to see how they further the mission of the Caleb Griffis Memorial Foundation.

May is motorcycle awareness month. Please be mindful of these motorists also. They are someone’s son/daughter,husband, brother, or friend. Put down the phones and pay attention to them also. Please look twice or even three times before turning.
This could have saved Caleb’s life. I will never believe the “I didn’t see them” excuse when it comes to motorcycles. We should always be looking for them.
I know most cyclists get a bad rap but that reputation doesn’t pertain to MOST of them. Most cyclists just want to get from point A to point B to save money, enjoy the outdoors, or ride with their friends. MOST of them use extreme caution and are constantly looking out for other drivers who aren’t paying attention. Please give them the same respect.
