*BOOK UPDATE*

I hope you're well. I have just returned back to Derbyshire from the sunny climes of Tenerife. We had a lovely time away in the sun but of course we've returned to a rather dour UK after the death of the Queen. I'll be honest I've never been a massive fan of the royals but she always seemed like a nice lady and she'll be missed.

I have also returned to a rather stiff email from Amazon telling me I don't have the rights to use the image on my latest book, What Did You Do? despite the fact that every image I use is from a reputable site and I always purchase the full licence for use.

I've told Amazon all this but whilst they are quick to take books off sale and potentially ruin an author's career, they are not so hasty in replying to emails and actioning republication :(

After talking to some other authors - who said the quickest way to sort it either way would be to republish with a new image - I've had a complete rehaul and changed the cover design AND the title.

So... What Did You Do? is now called THE PACT. You can see the new cover here.

I always like to look for the positive in a situation though and I feel that actually the new title works a lot better for the story and is also more engaging and intriguing for would-be readers. Plus the cover fits in better with my other covers too. So all in all not a bad thing really.. But a lot of stress and extra work I didn't count on.

So, if you do see The Pact on sale and have already read What Did You Do? - don't buy it. It's the same book.
