This is such amazing news!
Morning sickness has always confounded me. I mean, why would nature allow a mechanism that deprives women of nutrition, at the most critical time in our reproductive lives? It never made sense to me from an evolutionary standpoint. Why is it so debilitating for some, while others barely experience it at all? And why do some women have it with some pregnancies, but not others? Well, thanks to science, we now have some answers and a very promising path forward.

Stress regulation is very important during pregnancy and postpartum recovery. High levels of stress that continue for a long time may cause health problems, like high blood pressure and heart disease. During pregnancy, stress can increase the chances of preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, having a premature labor, difficult labor or a low-birthweight baby.
It is very important to identify and address your sources of stress to ensure a happy, healthy pregnancy.
Knowing that you have the support of a knowledgable and compassionate doula, who is attuned to your needs, can help relieve the stress and anxiety that many parents feel during the perinatal period.

What can I do to increase my milk supply? 🤱 (see disclaimer at bottom)
•Drink plenty of water
•Massage your breasts
•Get rest
•Eat a nutrient dense, balanced diet and
increase calories.
•Try herbal supplements like Goat’s rue or Blessed Thistle
•Eat galactagogue foods, like oatmeal, chickpeas and dark leafy greens.
•Latching baby, pumping or expressing milk often. Milk supply increases with demand.
