A few exciting changes for the next pageant!

1. New awards will be awarded.
2. There will be a preliminary round and everyone will compete at the final round.
3. Pageant-wide Top 8 will be announced and top 5 will secure a title.
4. Contestants/competitors may only win one title per pageant; however, they may compete for more than one title, thereby increasing their chances of securing a single title. Contestant/competitor title preferences will be submitted to (MOTW) at registration and will be taken into account at the judging stage.

Welcome to MU USA 2021 family 👏🏽

A short bio about Dante

Dante is a proud native of Vicksburg, Mississippi and currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana where he is an NFL cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints. As a young athlete, having participated in several sports, Dante discovered a passion and began taking cheer and dance classes at a young age. As a cheerleader throughout high school and college, it was unimaginable that he would be able to call himself an NFL cheerleader, being a part of the history-making movement of males entering the professional world of NFL cheerleading. He is also no stranger to the male pageant stage, having represented Mississippi in four national competitions.
Dante’ loves finding new ways to make a difference in his community, which is another passion of his. One of Dante’s proudest accomplishments involving service is being named Mississippi’s youth ambassador for Youth Service America, where he was able to visit Washington, D.C. for a leadership summit with youth representatives from all states, visiting Capitol Hill to speak with legislators, including Senator of Mississippi, Roger Wicker, about self-bettering program ideas for the youth of Mississippi.
Dante’ also loves mentoring the youth, which led him to create “Friends for H.E.A.L.ing” which is an initiative to motivate teens and adolescents to set positive goals and to Honor, Empathize, Appreciate, and Love. He has received service awards from organizations such as “National Child Awareness Month” and also First Lady of Mississippi Deborah Bryant. He also had the chance to speak to Governor Phil Bryant’s “Healthy Teens for a Better Mississippi” youth organization about his initiative. Dante’ has implemented this program and message in schools in his community within Mississippi and hopes to be able to expand this program nationwide as Mr. Universal USA.

What a wonderful start of spring! And do you know what spring brings! A new beginning!

Short Bio about Nicholas Stanton

Nicholas Stanton is a life long learner!

As an elementary school educator he has made it his mission to champion equity in education, providing access to quality education for all. Although he teach my students, staff, friends and family, he continues to learn from them! Which is why he penned his first children’s picture book, “Corey Corbin and the Perfect Paint” which illustrates the story of one young girls journey to love, and self acceptance; learning that there is beauty in every skin color.

He understands that we are all pieces of everyone we come in contact with. Which is why after his time at St. Joseph’s College as double major in Political Science, and International Relations. He dedicated my career to surrounding my self with those in need, as he could benefit them the most. Through his years of service he has had the opportunity to partner with the both local and national governments to provide aid to families in high need areas. From Working with AssemblyWoman Natasha Fernandez to provide food for families in need every Tuesday and Thursday, to working with NY State Senator Jamal Baliey. As a servant leader, He understands that he has to not only be the change I want to see in the world but help others see that they too can do the same.

As a fierce community leader, and outspoken advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community he has partnered with Housing Works, The Trevor project, SAGE, and most recently the Trinity Place Shelter to advance their efforts in impacting the life’s of those in our community.

Nicholas knows we can all do our part but together our part can be done!

Short bio about him:

Emanuel Anzules was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1993 at the age of 7, to reunite with his parents and sister in New Jersey. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Puerto Rican Hispanic Caribbean history from Rutgers University in 2007. In college, Emanuel was an active member within the Latino community and leader on campus, particularly as president of his class, and co-chair of the Latino Student Council. During the evenings, he also volunteered for the New Labor School, teaching English as a second language classes to adult undocumented community members. During his senior year, Emanuel interned for Univision Network in New York City, and assisted with the production of “Despierta America” (“Wake up America!”), a national-market dailynews and entertainment show.
Upon graduating college, Emanuel began his teaching career as a 2007 Teach for America corps members in Los Angeles, California, where he taught 11thgrade Spanish. A year later, he relocated back to the east coast and worked as a Target stores executive for a yearbefore returning to the
classroom in the Bronx, where hehas taught social studies across various grade levels. Since 2015 he has taught 11th grade American history at KIPP NYC College Prep High School, and in 2020 he earned a Master’s of Science in Teaching from Fordham University. In addition to his classroom duties, Emanuel serves as Social Studies Department chair and also works with restorative justice projects and facilitates adult conversation on social justice and equity issues.
Since 2012, competing in pageants has allowed Emanuel to reach a larger audience and bring relevant issues to light. In the past, he has advocated for those living with HIV/AIDS, victims of human trafficking, and more recently, as Mr. United States 2017, he has advocated for the rights of immigrants. Coming from a family of immigrants, Emanuel finds it necessary to address misconceptions about the experiences they live through and fears they endure, and devotes his time supporting that mission.
Emanuel resides with his partner and three dogs, enjoys working out, watching movies and old reality TV shows, as well as preparing delicious vegan and vegetarian meals. On weekends, Emanuel co-hosts an internet talk show, The Comment Section, and plans to begin a Master’s of Business Administration in the fall.

The first state to send ALL 3 guys to the nationals that will be in Tampa, Florida on June 3-7, 2021 👏🏽 wish them the best of luck!

Short bio about him:

Greeting, I am Ian Peralta. I was born into an in*******al family; my father is Filipino ( he was born and raised in the Philippines) my mother born in the US.

This is my first time competing in a pageant, and I am excited to represent the state of Virginia in Mister Universal USA.

The vision of Mister Universal USA “Breaking Stereotypes” resonates with me, because when I read breaking stereotypes, I thought about open mindedness, and matured individuals. Individuals who have lived yet, are not letting their pass dictate their present or future, because everyone has a story of how we’ve overcome our obstacles.

I want the masses to know and understand that pageants are not subjected to just females, but everyone. Pageants can be utilized to uplift, empower, motivate, and drive individuals to be positive role models, because now one is in the spotlight.

And I am here to let the world know to never let your past dictate your present nor future. You are not your past, but you can always strive for a better future.

A message from him:
Brayan was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the USA at the age of 7. During his High School years, he was part of the Navy Junior ROTC program and was awarded the position of Public Affairs Officer also he was the Vice-President of the National Honor Society 2013-2014. At the age of 16, he graduated from The College Academy in New York City. In 2019 he finished his Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and was awarded Dean's List. His dream job is to become a News Reporter and bring the latest news to the community.
