Vibe check: if you start to get overwhelmed or stressed with the craziness of life, settle down, sit somewhere calm & quiet, take deep breaths, focus on your present moment, do a body scan and when your mind starts to wander, bring the focus back to your breath. This technique has changed how I handle life situations and realize everything passes & things really aren’t that big of a deal

Life update:
I moved out of NYC to live in Charleston with my family.
Been feeling a little out of whack because of
- All the changes
- Transitions
- Indulging in all the foods that NYC has to offer
- Getting accustomed to a new environment
I am working on embracing all this change. I will admit, it’s hard, but I trust that everything happens for the absolute best and what is meant to be will be.

With that, I’m back on my game so LET’S GOOOOO

Learning to vibe alone has been the biggest game changer.

Workout time = my time & I am in full control of what I want to get it out of it.

On the days I’m not feeling it, I tell myself “you’ll never regret a work out” so I do what I can and what my body permits.

This is what works for me when I need a reset after I have deviated from my routine. These last few weeks have been a whirlwind. I fell out my routine and it wound up affecting my overall health. I struggle with over-indulging with food. I’ve never experienced it like this before and I think it has to do with the fact that I’ve stopped drinking alcohol the last 3.5 months. I struggle with the line that separates enjoying & treating yourself and over-indulging. This caused me to have trouble sleeping, foggy brain, breakouts, heightened emotions, overthinking and low self-esteem. That being said, I know what I need to do to get back into my routine and acknowledge that this is something I need to improve on and I know I can’t be hard on myself. If you struggle with this too, lmk, always happy to talk about it and work together to better ourselves!
