The thing that I get asked most frequently in the gym is how to improve punch ability on the "weak side".
So here a few important tips:
1. DRILLS DRILLS DRILLS. Don't waste time on remembering a bunch of 20 hit combos. Lock in on working on one technique until you perfect it.
2. Focus more on your weak side when you're working the bag. You should even try switching stances every once in awhile to see how it feels with your weaker side in the back.
3. Get some time alone with the bag without any distractions and record it. Look to see where you can improve without judging yourself.
4. Always keep learning because you're Never As Good As You Think You Are. That should motivate you.
5. Get a coach that's patient and that knows how to keep you focused on one task at a time. it's a marathon. Not a Sprint.
