Episode 2 of Surreally Good is at ARC this Friday at 7.30. It’s a 15 minute, play-type-thing with Andy Berriman and Scott Turnbull pretending to be sausages. (Big thanks to for her inspirational edit)
I found these little bits of plate whilst digging up my friends front garden. ‘Treasure’, I thought. ‘Ancient plates!’ I thought. My mate Richard (who’s front garden it is) said “oh, my grandad used to throw plates of food into the garden when he was disappointed with what he’d been served”…domestic disputes beyond my control. I love a story that has matching crockery 💚

This rough and ready, sci-fi noir is a futuristic fairy tale that draws inspiration from Bladerunner, Mighty Boosh and Twin Peaks, so expect an absurd, free-wheeling narrative, mind-bogglingly simplistic science fiction, and an elderly cocker spaniel called Janet.
I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve created and I can’t wait to share it with you for a one off performance at ARC, Stockton on 10th March.
Dare you look inside the Smog?
