📝 How Nations Become Great - The New Nigeria

Always insist that you leave the presence of God better and wiser. (Psalm 84:7)

Nations just like organizations, families, and individuals, can become great.

Greatness is not just an impartation and a desire. There are scriptural and time-tested principles that are responsible for the greatness of nations, individuals, and organizations.

🙌 It is the will of God for nations, individuals, and families to be great. (Genesis 12:1-3, Deuteronomy 28:1-2, Joshua 3:7)

🎯 Principles that make Individuals, Families, and Nations Great:

1. Vision (Proverbs 29:18)
Vision is the ability to see things as they ought to be, not just as they are, alongside the determination to bring that picture to manifestation.

Merely having a wish for a better future is not a vision, but a well-structured imagination.

Three-fold Dimensions of Vision:
1. History
You must understand history to be a visionary nation or person; it helps us to connect the past and come up with resolutions. Families, individuals, and churches must understand their history. History helps us to correct, retain, and improve.

2. Destiny
No nation becomes great without a clear picture of where it is going.

3. The Unity component of Vision
It is impossible to have unity without vision. A vision must be clear enough to allow individuals to give up their agenda and pursue a set goal.

Life and destiny are a relay; without understanding history, you will not know what is worth correcting, retaining, and improving.

Among the many things captured in the Bible is the journey of the believer’s faith.

It is important to know history. The ignorance of history allows a repetition of the negative parts of history.

Without a sense of history, it is impossible to become an effective leader.

History is what frames policies in organisations and nations.

As a leader, you cannot make constructive progress without making known the vision to all that you lead.

Only kidnappers do not reveal where they are taking you to.

The difference between a son and a hireling is an understanding of vision and inheritance.

📌 ASSIGNMENT:
As you return home, take out time to write down a well-defined vision for your life, household, and ministry.
(John 1:6-7, Hebrews 10:7)

Vision gives you focus; it gives you the legitimacy to say no to many things, even if they are intrinsically good.

2. Values (Policies). Proverbs 25:28

A nation is changed to the degree to which it has values.

Values lift men; Values define people’s idea about life and it gives them a template for living and conducting their lives.

Every national problem was first a community problem left unaddressed; every community problem was first a family problem ignored.

Organisations, families, and churches that have values have longevity.

If you say yes or agree to everything, it is proof that you are not moving forward.

Crime, corruption, laziness, and entitlement mentality are not just evil actions but are products of a mindset.

To cure these will not come by giving pieces of advice but through a re-engineering of their minds.

Love, respect, diligence, productivity, and responsibility are not just good actions but are products of a belief system.

Nations become great when they have clearly defined values and have built systems that re-engineer mindsets to align with these values.

There must be a disciplinary system that puts limits and boundaries in your life.

Pray: In the name of Jesus, I receive grace to put my life in order.

Anyone that becomes a distraction to where you are going should be far away from you.

You preserve your honour when you can exercise restraint in your life.

The power of restraint can be understood in the presence of opportunities.

Principles that make Nations, Individuals, and Families Great:
3. Education (Job 32:8, Daniel 1:3-4,17-21)

Education is the ability to read, write, communicate effectively, think constructively, and then use the knowledge acquired to birth solutions.

🙏 Lay your hands on your head and pray: In the name of Jesus, I curse illiteracy.

When you pray and fast for the grace called favour, realize that people are not looking for liabilities.

It is one thing to be employable, it is another to be an asset. In the presence of competence, certain prejudices and limitations are excused.

To become a good communicator, you must have:

1. Utterance - The spiritual component that carries the spirit of the message to be communicated.

2. Oratory - The ability to use words as a tool to transfer thoughts.

Knowledge is not an investment until it becomes a tool to proffer solutions.

The essence of secular education is to prime your creativity so that intuitively, you have trained your mind to approach life in a certain way.

Principles that make Nations, Individuals, and Families Great:

4. Leadership (Zechariah 13:7, John 10:11)

Leadership is the ability to coordinate human and material resources, to achieve a common and predefined goal.

Leadership is not a title or vocation, it is a mentality - a mentality of love, respect, productivity, and responsibility.

Leadership starts with you. Be the first follower of your own philosophies.

Simply because you are kind and sincere, does not automatically transfer to being a good leader.

Every generational leader is made, not born.

As a Believer, It is not enough to be spiritually vibrant, you must be economically vibrant too.

Integrity is capital.

God is raising us all as Ambassadors of our nation, to correct the wrong mindsets and to redeem the image of our nation.

Every young individual must learn the power and the value of productivity. Reject laziness.

Principles that make Nations, Individuals, and Families Great:

5. Economic Empowerment

No Nation can be economically liberated with a dependency mentality.

Every great nation is empowered economically through its private sector. A dependency mentality can destroy a nation.

If you consume tomorrow’s food today, you’ll be hungry tomorrow.

Wearing tomorrow’s clothes today will leave you naked tomorrow.

Avoid living a fake life and delete wasters from your circle.
Start with the dignity of integrity.

6. A Robust Security Architecture

One way to define a great nation is by the kind and quality of the security systems put in place.

Protecting the lives and properties of the citizens is one of the primary assignments of a nation.

Creating a safe environment will promote growth and attract foreign investments.

Every nation that desires to be great must invest in building a robust non-politicized security architecture.

2 Chronicles 7:14(KJV)

Principles that make Nations, Individuals, and Families Great:

7. An Honour to Spirituality (Psalm 33:12, 95:3, 2 Chronicles 15:12-15)

Spirituality is the key influencer of values, morals, and actions. People will always build values to reflect and honour their spiritual dispositions.

Every time men seek God, they always tilt towards a great destiny.

There are things only God can do; turning a murderer like Saul to a Missionary called Paul.

Only God can bring healing to our land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Father, we bow our knees as a Global Family, proud Nigerians, and those sharing in our pain, like the people in Nineveh, who called on a fast and prayed till You heard them.

As a Federal Republic, we confess You have helped us but there are still many things to be done. We cry for mercy, let the blood of Jesus speak upon every family, parliament, and system.

We hand over Nigeria to Your loving care and we turn Nigeria to You. May we become a people of vision, value, and education.

May Nigeria be a place where generational leaders are made and where a robust security architecture is present.

We pray that You take over Nigeria. In our lifetime, May we see a new Nigeria.

I speak The Blessing of The Lord upon you, in the name of Jesus.

Everything your hand finds to do this week, may you experience a mighty acceleration in that area.

THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD'S HOUSE
(Isaiah 2:2-3)

Never reject results; not only does it prove that God is Almighty, it proves that you are keeping to the laws and principles of God’s Kingdom.

As a Christian, you can decide not to be interested in giving your service to God.
God will respect your will, but your life will be void of the rewards and consolations that come with serving God from a place of genuine love.

The term ‘nation,’ as referenced in Isaiah 2:2, encompasses not only nationality but also people of diverse backgrounds.

Prophetically speaking, Daniel described a time in the church where, God’s people, His church and His program will be so built in stature and with power. He gave a prophetic picture of the coming days of God’s power and the move of The Spirit.
(Daniel 2:44)

Everyone you intend to introduce to the faith life is already involved in something significant in their lives. It becomes dangerous and disheartening when people come to Church, and there is nothing substantial to offer them.

The narrative of Jesus that has been presented to the world over time is imbalanced, leading some people to believe that coming to Him is a futile endeavor.

People are driven by the desire for profit and a sense of purpose. As Believers, there is a concept of God we ought to present to the nations that aligns with these.

There is a concept of Jesus that has been wrongly presented and has impoverished Africa.

In the book of Luke, the reason the poor, the lame, and the blind were invited to the banquet (Luke 14:16-23) is because they were already marginalized and neglected. The Host’s intention was to include all people, not to isolate any group.

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a platform and an institution where nations should come to encounter the True Living God.

The Kingdom of God and the church are inclusive and not limited to the poor, dejected, or frustrated people.

🙌 Five Representations of The One True God that The Church Must Present to the World:

1. The God who forgives.
(Psalm 103:1-3, Daniel 9:9, Ephesians 1:7, Jeremiah 31:3, John 3:16).

They need a representation of a God who loves and forgives them, not to condone sin but as an expression of His love for them. A forgiving God (though not a condoning God) is a God worth coming to, because forgiveness is a scarce commodity in today’s world.

Eternal life is a gift available to both the great and small; it is a gift for all people (John 3:16).

The condition to receiving forgiveness from God is genuine brokenness and repentance.

2. The God who heals.
(Jeremiah 17:14, Matthew 9:35).

One of the most powerful methods of compelling nations to Jesus is the healing ministry, leading to a greater harvest of souls than you’ve ever witnessed.

The healing anointing and ministry is one of the most compelling systems to attract the world to the church. When we can present a solution to the world that defies medical science alongside genuine proofs and miracles, that Jesus truly heals, a day will come when nations will passionately desire to have an encounter with Him.

When it comes to the God of healing, people from all walks of life, including Asians, Americans, and even herbalists, will call upon His name.

When the church collaborates with medical science and provides tangible evidence that Jesus can heal, a time will come when nations will be attracted to the church. A single genuine miracle can be as impactful as a thousand sermons.

🙏 For anyone sick in any part of your body, by the power given to us by our Healing Jesus, may you be healed now!

In the name of Jesus, may God find your hands available, to present a healing Jesus to the nations.

Do not downplay the desperation of people.
Nobody would willingly watch their loved ones suffer or die. Without showcasing a God who heals, Africa may revert to old habits, (visiting witchdoctors and practising traditional, extra-biblical practices).

The End-time Church must be the church that presents The God that heals.

Pray: Father, restore the healing mantle to The Church.

May the End-time Church present The God that heals, to the nations, in the name of Jesus!

When you present a healing Jesus with evidence that people can witness, excuses disappear.

Whenever you witness healings, you are likely to see great multitudes, as seen in John 6:2.

The abundance of unnecessary sermons being delivered today is a consequence of not showcasing a healing Jesus. The gospel was intended to be straightforward and impactful in the presence of tangible results.

It is impossible for nations to come to an end-time Church, without some individuals needing deliverance.

There must be at least one person in every congregation, who needs to experience the delivering power of Jesus.

3. The God who redeems and delivers. (Psalm 50:15, 60:5, 34:4, 35:4, 107:20, Luke 4:18).

Deliverance is a process that brings separation between you and any unclean spirit or from an unfavorable situation. Deliverance is not only from spirits but, a man can also be delivered from things.

“Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭71:21‬ ‭(KJV‬‬)

May my God increase your greatness, in the name of Jesus!

The next testifier, I release you into your testimony, in the name of Jesus.

Every spirit that has become a stumbling block in your life and destiny, by the power of God that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, be separated from it now!

4. The God Who honours and lifts.
(1 Chronicles 29:11-12, Colossians 1:12, Psalm 71:21).

Our God is not only forgiving, healing, and redeeming, He also truly lifts. As you commit to lifting God in your life, He remains committed to lifting you and revealing His glory through your life.

We do not serve God for material gain, but there are blessings we receive, as a result of God’s love and our service to Him.

🙏 Lay your hand upon your head and pray:

Honour and lift me, oh God, in this season. Do not withhold Your hand from lifting me. Grant me honour and visibility before the nations, in Jesus’ name.

As a minister of the gospel, you cannot effectively mentor and cultivate a community of believers by emphasizing carnality and materialism. Such an approach would result in a weak and self-centered congregation.

5. The God Who is interested in the prosperity and the overall well-being of His people.
(Psalm 35:27, 1 Chronicles 29:11-12, Psalm 23:1, 34:10, 103:1-5).

Serving God and begging for bread is a misrepresentation of Who He is. We do not serve God because of things, but as a result of our service unto Him, we receive the benefits of service.

It is important that we re-present Jesus, correcting any past misconceptions about His true nature, as we have previously portrayed a flawed narrative of who He is.

When the nations come to the Church and become established, we can then proceed to mentor and disciple them.

Our forefathers succeeded in presenting Jesus, although there were some imbalances in their presentation. Our assignment as believers is to reintroduce Jesus with humility and grace, to the end that all dimensions of Him is captured in the church.

🙏 Pray: Father, may my life be a capture of these holistic dimensions of Jesus.

May I not be exempted from benefitting from these re-presentations of You, in the name of Jesus!

🙏 In the name of Jesus Christ, I decree and declare unto you, all the five dimensions of God that were revealed today, may your life experience all of them this week. You will return on Saturday with mighty testimonies!

I bless you in the name of Jesus, your going out is blessed and your coming in is blessed. May the mighty hand of God rest upon you!

GREATER WORKS Part 2
John 14:12

As ministers of the gospel, when there is no awareness of how the end will look, impatience becomes inevitable. (Isaiah 46:10)

God is not merely equipping believers with random knowledge; there is a specific believer that God desires you to become. His intent is for you to be built in a particular way.

Just being a believer does not automatically make you usable.

There is a type of believer that advances God’s purposes and a level of refinement that must occur, to render you usable.

What kind of Believer does The Holy Spirit in partnership with the teaching ministry is producing:

1. God seeks to build a people who are, first and foremost, spiritually vibrant: sincere, passionate lovers of Jesus, the house of God, and then the things of God.

2. A believer with character, sustaining a growing determination to be like Jesus, in experience.

3. God is building intelligent and transformed believers who have already received the sevenfold ministration of Jesus. Isaiah 11:2

They can live out the purposes of the kingdom, possess a thorough understanding of The Word of God, and have the ability to apply it toward a victorious life.

4. God seeks to produce responsible, purpose-driven, and effective believers.

5. Agents of societal and territorial transformation, i.e., individuals who can translate their Christian experience to the point where it becomes relevant to their world.

Knowledge is truly a waste until you’re able to translate it for your profiting and the profiting of others.

Spirituality does not take away intelligence.
(Isaiah 11:2-3)

Your spiritual intelligence will be pungent if what you know does not transform you into a superior version of yourself.

As a believer, you should be able to articulate with precision, that as a result of submitting to a body of knowledge in the house of God, a significant transformation has occurred within you.

Encountering God affects not only your spiritual life but also every aspect of your life.

The fruit of wisdom is evident in the quality of decisions made by the possessor. As a believer, it is impossible to possess wisdom from above, yet your life continues to reflect inferior decisions. James 3:15 (KJV)

If your life is plagued by failure, defeat, and negative decisions, it shows a bankruptcy of wisdom in your life (Luke 2:52).

A hard life is directly traceable to the absence of wisdom.

Benefits of Wisdom:
1. Wisdom strengthens and secures. (Eccl 7:19)

2. Wisdom protects, preserves, and defends.
(Eccl 7:12 - AMP)

3. Wisdom brings efficiency to your life.
(Eccl 10:10)

Spiritual Forces for Experiencing Greater Works:
1. The Force of Prayer. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

2. The Force of Wisdom. (Mark 6:2, James 1:5, Isaiah 11:2)

3. The Force of Faith (Hebrews 11:1-2, 32-36)

Bible faith must have a basis, and that basis is the Word of God.

It represents your confidence, convictions, and persuasions in God, encompassing your trust in who God is and what He represents.

Faith is exemplified through the actions that demonstrate your belief in God.

Two Reasons Why We Need Faith In Our Walk With God:
1. There are realities beyond the scope of our sight and science. (Colossians 1:16-18)

The Bible emphasizes that there are things visible and invisible, with “invisible” not implying unreality.

2. Faith commits God in the affairs of men. (John 11:40, Luke 1:37)

It has a unique ability to commit God in the affairs of our lives.

The entire economy of faith depends on Who God is and what He has said.

As a believer, if you do not learn to walk by faith, you will be limited and may end up blaming either God, situations, or even experiences, for your limitations.

Unless God grants you the privilege of supernatural and visionary experiences, you may not fully comprehend how the realm of the spirit operates. You must walk in faith to grasp the realities of the spiritual realm.

Bible faith produces (results).

It not only pays to serve Jesus, it also pays to believe in Him.

You will encounter conflicting and challenging reports as you journey through life. It is up to you to believe God’s report.

Overdependence on intellect can rob you of the ability to walk by faith and waiting until you see evidence can be destructive, hindering your faith walk.

Dare to believe God and watch The God of wonders arise for you!

Faith is a requirement in the life of a believer. It is pertinent to believe what God has said. A testimony (the outcome of faith) represents the endpoint of the journey of faith!

When you thank God in the midst of storms, you truly have faith.

When you thank God in the midst of results, that is a praise report.

Spiritual Forces For Experiencing Greater Works:

4. The Force of Wealth and Abundance:
(Zechariah 1:17, Deuteronomy 8:18, Matthew 28:1-15)

Wealth and abundance have, since time immemorial, played a unique role in shaping civilisations, either promoting evil or fostering good.

Whenever you observe any form of societal advancement or civilisation, wealth invariably plays a significant role behind it.

Greater Works are unattainable if you’re financially incapacitated or lack wealth and abundance.

Souls are expensive. It requires resources to bring them to the cross. The gospel is free, but taking it to the nations comes at a cost.

It is terrible to know what to do and still be limited by resources.

Finance is an irrefutable force responsible for greater works.

When financial resources are in the hands of a person who passionately loves God, possesses wisdom, and has a vision, you’ll witness how far they can advance the purposes of God.

Without financial resources, many good things will remain unrealised.

Wealth is a tool in God’s Kingdom. The absence of financial resources can cripple your life and destiny.

Wealth in the kingdom of God is not an achievement; it is a trust.

Do not be afraid of prosperity. Your fear of money will cause more harm to God’s program than good.

When prosperity meets with wisdom and vision, it does more impact to the Kingdom.

🙏 Whatever has reduced you to a place of shame and mockery due to the absence of economic resources, may my God, who is The Lifter of men, prosper you for greater works, in the name of Jesus!

Spiritual Forces for Experiencing Greater Works:

5. The Force of Influence. (Matthew 5:14)

Influence is power.

Influence is the capacity to have an effect, whether positive or negative, on the character, perceptions, behavior, decisions, and values of another.

Kingdom advancement requires evangelism and influence.

As a believer, do not reject influence; it is a tool for fulfilling your assignment.

Our world is a product of certain influential people.

People will model certain good qualities in your life if you’re influential.

The key to genuine biblical influence is results!

Nobody will indefinitely follow an individual, institution, or organization that does not produce results.

At the end of your life, your name can be a key that opens closed doors or a name that closes doors.

Certain people’s names exemplify hope and many good qualities.

Influence extends beyond social media.

The most effective way to market anything is to proclaim ‘The Truth.’

There should be no fear if what you’re advocating for is the truth.

Falsehood may sell more quickly, but only the truth can truly save.

Influence is enhanced by a life of excellence.

When you deliver excellence in your sphere of influence or areas of expertise, people will continue to seek you and the value or solutions you offer.

The prophetic, as designed by God, is a major tool that has changed spiritual climates.

Whenever a society derails or plunges into any kind of decadence, God raises a prophetic voice.

The church is not only a spiritual platform; it is an institution where people are reoriented afresh.

When it comes to advocating change, transformation, and greatness, the church, as an institution on earth, is the easiest channel.

The Holy Spirit has the ability to search all things peculiar to you, including the deep things of God.

The prophetic can be accessed by everyone through a call or alignment with those who have evolved into dimensions that permit them to operate in the prophetic.

It plays a powerful role when it is done within the boundaries of Scripture.

God is not obliged to back up any word or declaration that is not from Him.

When you are under pressure to speak in the flesh and declare what God hasn’t said, doing so may lead to embarrassment.

🙏 Go ahead and pray into your life, the forces of prayer, wisdom, faith, wealth, abundance, influence, and the prophetic.

Pray: Lord, empower me for greater works, in the name of Jesus!

Pray: I obtain grace to manifest these forces, in the name of Jesus!

In the name of Jesus, I activate any virgin dimension that is required for you to rise and do greater works!

I decree and declare upon you, that the spirit of faith that works and moves mountains; may that grace be imparted upon you now in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let the spirit of prayer and supplication like never before, rest upon your life!
