Has a servo and alum front shock towers stock motor esc and shift servo. Injora wheels with Mickey Thomason’s and Mike Chu supports with stock foams. (It’s a sidewall support) For the chassis work it has 1/16” steel sliders, 1/8”rear towers and chassis has been welded. The 3/8” front bumper comes out to release electronics/servo tray and skid, it’s not a forced fit it all comes together nicely. Message if interested.
This is why people get lowballed. It sucks but you have to assume everything is bad until you know it’s not. Stripping down a donor truck for a new build.
needs a hug.
That was fun!
Local sorrca starts tmrw and I don’t have an interior or windshield in my class 1!
The things you find when you go thru a rig…
helpin me out getting these diffs dialed!
Donor body #2 secured.
kinda ticked at ya. Your Hammer Rey bellcrank kit really should have came with the top and bottom housings. Leaving the plastic to support all the metal, it’s not so cool. Having to buy a cheaply made (cast) kit off of Amazon for $25 in addition to your product makes no sense. I’d much rather of paid $25 more for you to make these and include them than tear my rig down twice and piece together a complete package. Rant finished.
Gonna try a belt drive with a 10 turn, it’s geared like a 15/56. Hoping the 10t motor can go low low. It’s an 10t 550 can and !
This is getting tricky…
The had a good time till the beasts showed up!
Shimmed and greased diffs today. All ar44 housings one with and knuckles and universals. That buttery smooth roll is worth it! I guess plastic housings do shift over time. Always worth it to take an hour to check things than have diff problems on the trail.
Gotta love slippery wet rocks, almost lost the scx6!
I dumped it out at a table on Thanksgiving, 4 hrs later here it is!
I like these lines where I have to trust the truck!
Haha been thinking about this one for a while!
Found a nice spot in cornville AZ on sat!
Maybe I comped a bit hard this weekend, but it was a blast!
Now to remake the front leaf!
Had a great day on the rocks with the Narcca crew and RC crawlers of Prescott. Trucks did well and it was a light and fun vibe for a comp. Still got the adrenaline going and that brings the fun! More pics and vids to come!
Sometimes I forget how nicely the day greets me. Good morning!
Bout to be skirrtin them gates in the morning! What RC activities do you have planned this weekend?
Rolled the Toyota Thursday. Got the body back functional, and put a cage in case I oopsie again.
Don't tell the boy it's his truck...
I really enjoy doing custom wheels. These injora wheels are using a Chu support and memory foam in the front and a med foam for the rear. Wrapped with , going in a 7lb truck.
After and before scale hardware.
Buying used can have it's downside, do you roll the dice and buy used?
Got the opportunity to make a custom CF front bumper for a close friend. He is just getting into his first season of our local Sorcca series and needed something to finish off the front end. It sits verticle on the foams and bumper, just right! Threw in some smokestack body retainers for that extra touch. Enjoy your rig !
