Who makes the best ? To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the Northern Branches of the have launched the IWFS Black Pudding Competition to fete a great British ingredient, and demonstrate its quality and versatility in modern cuisine.

It has been sponsored by The Bury Black Pudding Company who we already know make some of the most tasty .

The finals are on Tuesday 28 June at Bolton University. If you are near , , , , , and , why not go the special lunch they are organising. For more details see IWFS Black Pudding Competition. Tickets are limited.

An excellent lunch and wonderful wines were enjoyed by all who attended our recent Garden Party. The wines were generously supplied by a fellow member from their substantial personal cellar.

Like our parent organisation, the Wessex branch provides unique events to enable people to share their enjoyment of wine and food.
