Your impactful goals will include:

1. Church and Community Engagement:
• Build trust and establish relationships with Church and community members, leaders, and local organizations.
• Promote open and respectful communication to understand the community's concerns and aspirations.
2. Conducting Assessments:
• Conduct surveys, assessments, and research to gather information about the Church and community's needs, challenges, and strengths.
• Identify key priorities and issues that require attention.
3. Project Planning and Implementation:
• Collaborate with Church, community members, and stakeholders to develop project plans and initiatives that address identified needs.
• Create realistic timelines for the implementation of project activities after discussion with the team and supervisor.
4. Advocacy and Awareness-Raising:
• Raise awareness about issues affecting the Church, community, and the projects being implemented.
• Ensure all the relevant information is clearly communicated to the stakeholders, beneficiaries, and Church leadership.
5. Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Continuously monitor the progress and impact of projects within the Church and community.
• Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies as needed.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities, including progress reports, budgets, and other relevant documentation.
• Create reports that demonstrate the impact of the work and ensure transparency and accountability to stakeholders, donors, and the community.
7. Capacity Building:
• Provide training and support to Church and community members, empowering them to actively participate in project activities.
• Strengthen the community's ability to sustain and manage projects independently.

• Address and mediate conflicts within the Church and community that may arise during project implementation.

• Build and maintain a network of contacts within the Church, community, and the broader development sector.

What we are looking for:
Education & Knowledge
• Bachelor's in related fields such as social work, sociology, community development, or international development.

Work Experience
• 2 to 3 years of experience in social work and community development.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Active listening skills are also crucial for understanding the needs and concerns of the community.
