We appreciate the power of radical generosity” (givingtuesday.org) at NYLaughs. Our mission has been the radical idea of producing stand up for free in our beautiful parks and public spaces throughout the city for more than a decade an a half. We had considered other radical, generous ideas, such as comedy performances entirely in the n**e, or surprise comedy in New York’s public restroom stalls, but “free” seemed the most feasible legally, and it’s in line with our goal for making New York and the world at large a better place.
